Can Thresh get some healthy buffs?

Not your non-existent hook cooldown treatment. Maybe increasing his passive soul value or reworking his ultimate. I have to stop moving for an instant to cast that little cage. I could build a ton of health and some resistances (despite his passive) yet more often than not I will still blow up almost as fast as any other class of champion. What about reverting the nerfs to his lantern a long time ago? Maybe increase its value a bit per soul or grant every ally who touches it a shield like it used to.

He doesn't deserve any buffs right now. He probably deserve nerfs.

Thresh has the most loaded kit of any support in this game. He most definitely deserves nerfs. I don't even care if it's the "wrong" way to nerf him. I just want him out of the meta for awhile.

Literally over 50% WR since Worlds, despite being THE most popular pick, until this very patch, and you think he needs a buff?

There's a lot more to a champ than just a winrate, mind you. His kit and numbers are very underwhelming compared to other supports. He has a higher skill ceiling but doesn't proportionally offer a high reward unless there's a lot more synergy at hand with the adc. Pyke can solo carry a lane because the design team figured it was a great idea giving an assassin bot-lane viability and the balance team didn't help by buffing him. Hell, I should be picking up Alistar again because he does exactly what Thresh can do but better: lock down (offensively and defensively) and tank objectives, all while being completely point-and-click carrying an ultimate that essentially makes him unkillable.

Yes, Thresh needs a buff. A small one. In the right direction, as I've said. Btw, having such a high pick rate would INCREASE the probability of hitting a 50% winrate, so that's kind of a given..?

Oh really? And here I thought that a high pickrate meant that everybody and their mother was playing him... why in the world would being played alot by non-mains make a champion's winrate go UP?

@thread I think thresh is actually in a good place right now. But id love it if his collection radius scaled with level. Not just for souls, but collection radius in general.
