I agree with the points that there are some bad eggs in league, but there's some serious exaggeration going on here.
For one thing, it isn't completely foregone. Even as a Bronze player I consistently attempt to help and enhance the gaming experience of others. I try and never talk down to someone, never FF in ranked, and I always try to keep my insults in check. While I may fail sometimes, it's still the thought on trying to improve oneself and the ones around you that counts. If you get to know most people they're good folks, and I'm sure you've been toxic once or twice. I know I have.
Additionally, the bad people in league are bad, sure, but the good people are such a pleasure to play with. Most people in the game are reasonable, talented individuals who just want to play a video game and have fun doing it.
You can also solo carry. Seriously. I've done it a million times. But what you have to understand there's a difference between snatching up all the kills and leaving the rest of your team with the scrapings from the pot, and getting an advantage early game and helping your teammates get as fed as you are.
Also; the whole "millennials are ruining the world" thing is insipid. It's writing off an entire generation. Not only is it stupid, it's misguided. Morons and entitled brats have existed WAY before the current generation.
Of course, you're entitled to your own opinion of the game. If you don't share my way of thinking, that's totally fine. But I suggest you stop playing online games in general, because if salty players ruin your gaming experience that bad it's a wonder you're still playing League in the first place.
