The quality of Diamond V players is so fucking terrible that I didn't realize flex queue has new MMR

Because the Gold and Silver players were playing at the exact same level as 75% of Diamond V players. How the fuck can you not take this as a sign that something needs to be done about all of the people who abused dynamic queue last season?

i don't know why, but i see diamonds/challengers play worse than fucking golds and its ridiculous

It's because majority of them are either boosted or only got to that elo playing with a ton of friends that carried them.
