I miss the old Abyssal Scepter

It had a way better build path than Banshee's Veil, and taking away the 10% magic damage amplification from mages was a big hit to a lot of mages that used to build it(leblanc, cassiopeia etc).

Cass and Leblanc both got hit AFTER it was changed to a tank item, suggesting that they needed the 'big hit' and then some.

That's not even considering the fact that Cass still build Abyssal Mask.

Except if you actually bothered reading patch notes, you would see that Riot only wanted to change them for worlds.

Idk about kass but leblanc can still use abysal mask. Its now a replacment if u want more tanky stats so you wouldnt be building morrelos. It should be bought 3rd item useally with lichbane and gunbalde to make up for your lack of dmgf but the passive is nice

What about mages that don't want to be that close? BV is a much better defensive option and now Tanks can provide more utility for their mages.
