Utility into each of the mastery trees (for supports)

I was thinking that there should be a point somewhere in each talent tree to provide more interesting stats.

UTILITY Receive no gold from kills and assists - allies receive the gold (Not sure about solo kills) maybe the last ally you were near?

DEFENSE The lower your health - the more you heal

OFFENSE You take more damage - your allies deal more damage

This is an interesting way to make supports martyrs. You literally give up gold or health to help your allies. Only the Soraka rework does this sort of thing.

A problem with your approach is that it encourages to not attack the support. "Don't attack Sona, she will heal for more and her allies will do more damage!" This is counterintuitive for the opponents and the support player themselves. Do I take turret shots to increase the effectivity of my allies?

I do like the general idea to make the mastery trees more interesting for supports. I think the Expose Weakness mastery is a great example for an offensive support mastery. Would love to see more ideas :)

It's a cool idea but it would put stress on gold per items. They'd have to be buffed, to compensate for those who took that No Gold from Kill/assists. Which in turn would stop people from using that mastery since the gold items are buffed. Even if you made it to where, the gold per items gave more gold only to supports using that mastery, it'd have to be significant enough to compensate for the lack of gold income from kills/assists.

The defensive one would promote people who can self heal to use it. In offensive side there is a mastery like that. Where you damage an enemy with a spell and it increases damage dealt to that champion by allies (Expose Weakness), that you can take. It's not what you mean, but it works.

These would 1) make new soraka even stronger, but 2) make healing another odd balance.
