just met 1 guy, he uses 1 runepage for both his ap mid/top flat ad reds, flat armor yellows, flat ap blues and quints he says that by picking flat ad reds, his lasthitting has improved a lot, he never misses cs which results in more gold also he harasses his opponent with aas and almost never loses his lane his words are that this is viable vs both ad and ap i don't know his elo, he is smurfing
12tales4 votesAD reds are decent on any champion with ranged auto attacks. I'd personally suggest Hybrid Pen if you want your runes to support auto-harass. It makes last hitting pretty easy, but it also scales quite well into the mid and late game where AD reds will be useless.
If you're on a budget, tho, then yeah - AD reds are fine.
Worgslarg2 votesFlat ad reds can work, but you should be able to cs on any champion with practice, and MRpen or AP reds will serve you far, far better than ad once you get to level 3-5 and can waveclear with spells.
redniwediS1 votesIf you go for magic pen or AP reds you can swap your blues over to scaling magic resist, which is only a bad rune if your opponents are 100% AD.
