Humans are VERY inconsistent

Having someone who does poorly on your team isn't Riot intentionally putting a feeder on your team. For all you know, that person could've been on a 4 game win streak completely carrying those games all by himself, but then this game he just happened to get put in a bad matchup or made a few big mistakes early that screwed him over. Of course there are times where a player is just really bad or boosted, but everyone occasionally gets those players on their team and the matchmaking system can't just not let them play the game.

Just so you know, you are also the garbage, feeder awful player that shouldn't be allowed to play ranked at all in some of your games. Even if you're a good player you'll still have those games sometimes. You could also just be a bad player that refuses to improve, but according to most people they are absolute Gods at this game that can do no wrong and the matchmaking system puts intentional feeders on their team in 100% of their games.

The only thing any one of us has any control of in a LoL match are the actions of our own champ / summoner. Sometimes "lose is improve". ^ ^

Difference is 0/7 isn't 'a few mistakes' that's int feeding.

Well, that could actually happen. That's one of the moments when players are inconsistent - I always get surprised when I see a player like that and ask "why not play def?" until that actually happens to me and I feel like I can't deal with it - even when you understand you need to play def. Maybe, you get camped, maybe, you don't pay too much attention to things happening - but getting 0/7 is real (sometimes, ofc)

They might just differ in how they see the game from you though?

Some players play super fucking aggressive every game. It works in enough games that they're in the same elo as you, but if they fuck up in lane or unexpectedly ganked - they might just start straight feeding.

You have a 4+ KDA on your champions, but still have a negative win rate. This is indicative of the fact that you have no clue how to carry a game with your lead - or don't generate leads and just feed off cleaning up later in the game.

Challenger players frequently have around 2 KDAs - because your KDA does not win you games.

ModKnightsKemplar5 votes

If you're in 100% of your games...

And there's an int feeder in 100% of your games...

Maybe you should start asking the hard questions.

The people that are exceptions to this rule are very few and far between.

Like Vei. His KDAs on almost all his champs were abnormally high.

Automated Riven1 votes

He probably isn't an exception. He is more likely just inconsistent at a less extreme rate.

Naymliss4 votes

I played with this lb who had like a 6 kda over hundreds of games with a negative winrate because she just played for assists and kills and never tried to help the team.

Here is bronze in a nutshell:

Half of your games you are either carrying or being carry-able, the other half of them you are the stink on your team.

Nyarlathοtep2 votes

Still when you see your teammate that does badly and still refuses to kinda limit his risky actions, its only natural to get extra angry. Bonus angry points if you won your lane/ its ranked.

Rift Crab2 votes

"carrying those games all by himself", I'll stop you right there. You can't solo carry games in 2018. It would be too fun, we don't want that, do we now?

You are one of those people that misunderstands too much. You can just look up the feeder to see their match history and their is a difference between someone having a bad game and feeding. If that person has 4 deaths in 4 minutes they are feeding. I don't care if they carried every previous game before this game, they are feeding this game. Use your brain before posting nonsense.

I really feel like shit when I'm inconsistent and lose a game, especially when someone ask for a duo or/and after I ask for my main role in lobby too... sigh..

I accept that people can do bad in their games. I will never flame someone for losing their lane, but I will still list their failures as why I lost at the end of the day.

How about looking only at your mistakes and try your best to correct them and try to stop making them again? Blaming your loss on another person’s mistake is bad because in this game because we are all humans, we all make mistakes. and this is a team game, if you don’t realize your mistakes and strive to correct them you will be constantly losing more games than winning, and you won’t be pulling your weight, which causes your team (but mainly you) to be performing at a level lower than what your potential is.

Weedlayer2 votes

Of course, you can do both though. It's perfectly consistent to say "I could have avoided this gank/cs'ed better/roamed more, but ultimately my bot lane going 1/17 was the primary factor causing me to lose". In this way, you both identify areas of improvement, and honestly assess the game.

Of course, unless you tie your bot lane's performance back to your actions somehow (e.g. I should have roamed/teleported/ganked that lane to stop the bleeding) it doesn't really matter, since you can't control what other people do.

Always pisses me off when people call their team bad. Asking to see their match history tends to shut them up though

Andrey03451 votes

The saddest thing is those nice players in that game will never know that I'm actually not boosted...

zoliking1 votes

I'm not mad when somebody plays badly, what bothers me is when people intentionally shit on the team. Refuse to do the job for their position, build nonsense, psycho charge into large groups of enemies, wander aimlessly in the jungle, push mid in small groups when the enemy inhib there is already gone, that kinda stuff. For just playing badly you could say something has gone wrong and shit happens. For this behaviour that doesn't apply, it's entirely voulentary. But it's still lumped in with people just having bad games by Riot, because they shudder at the thought of actually having to devise a system that punishes the selfish, those who don't give a fuck and the rest of the players who have no business playing any team games.

Some humans are consistently inconsistent though.

Larriet1 votes

This is a good thread. I never judge people for doing poorly, even awful, because I've had games where I went 0/8 long after I should've been better. Those games are super RARE, but they happen. Doing poorly in one or even a few games doesn't actually mean that player is any worse than you. Combine that with the fact that I'll always reach the appropriate rank "eventually", regardless of my current LP or W/L streak, makes it hard for me to understand why people get so heated about an individual game when your rank is based on literally hundreds.

StillHittinLicks1 votes

90% of LoL of players don't realize that every game is a 1v5 and that you must solo carry to win. They find anything to blame but themselves.

Verxint1 votes

Inconsistency is worse than usual this season as well, with so much damage and oneshots, if you get ahead you don't actually have to be playing well, so people aren't actually reinforcing good habits and losing bad ones. They're just madly fighting and hoping to be the first one to unload their spells.

idk I literally quit playing 5v5 because of how often I have bad teams. not saying i'm infallible but... yikes
