I really hope not. My favorite things about ADCs are how crunchy they are

Lets compare standard vs this build

item 3006 item 3031 item 3046 item 3035 item 3072 item 3026

115% AS, 200 AD, 55% Crit, 35% Pen, 50 Armor and MR, 0 HP, 20% Lifesteal, 0% CDR GA second life, BT passive, PD & IE passives

item 3006 item 3031 item 3046 item 3071 item 3156 item 3143

75% AS, 180-215 AD, 55% Crit, Stacking 30% Pen, 70 Armor, 40 MR, 900 HP, 0% Lifesteal, 20% CDR Randuins passive/active, 15% AS per Randuins (generally 1-2), Maw Shield, PD & IE passives,

I doubt they'll be building tankier. It's not the ADC's job to be tanky. And even with tanky items, they'll still die pretty quickly.

But if we transition back to League of Assassin, maybe they would

I doubt they will go for totally tanky builds, but I can easily see them taking the new item 3071 and item 3143 as their go-to defensive items, with item 3139 keeping it's niche as the premier MR/anti CC item, item 3143 as the premier armor/self peel item (which it already is, just even better now), and item 3071 as the tank-busting/kiting item, in place of the soon to be absolutely useless item 3022, and item 3026 as the premier anti assassin/mixed damage defense item.

That is actually my main concern, item 3022 will have 0 reason to exist anymore, because the new item 3071 has virtually the same niche, but also packs a huge armor shred. It costs a ton more, in exchange for less AD, a weaker passive, and no armor shred or CDR. It will be inferior in every way, and really ought to be removed.

not unless they for some reason get forced to become more tanky. BC instead of LW is a huge damage loss for more gold, unless you can really abuse the 20% cdr, but the current BC is much better for any DD and still rarly gets build on adc, so why would they start to get it once it's worse for them? Randuins will stay a niche der option vs ad-heavy comps or full dive. Mercurial simply is better than maw, granting more ad in average, more mr and mostly a cc-remove. And BT is easily the most powerfull tank-item for any adc unless you get destroyed befor you can use any AAs.

Going with the new BC gives you the same damage as LW (40 AD), but worse anti-Armor capabilities (35% ArPen instantly vs 30% shred max after 6 hits. Worth noting: Armor Shred works for your whole team). Additionally, for defensive purposes, Cleaver features 400 HP and vastly improved kiting. On top of that, Cleaver has 20% CdR, which is really helpful for certain AD carries.

Cleaver is 700 gold more expensive, but has more useful components in its build path - item 3044. If an ADC doesn't have enough for BF, but has to back, he could potentially buy Phage instead of Pickaxe plus Boots (unfortunately delaying his IE spike, though).

I think we might see it on certain AD carries, especially ones that particularily appreciate the CdR or the Rage passive for kiting, and who won't need as much Armor Penetration. For examples:

Corki : Loves CdR, has a way to apply stacks fast (Gatling Gun). Doesn't synergize with LW too well, anyway (magic damage abilities). Unfortunately, Phage passive might be somewhat wasted due to also building Triforce. Vayne : "Silver of the Moon." Benefits from Phage passive due to largely kite-oriented playstyle. CdR mainly useful for ult uptime. Quinn : Top lane variant. BotRK, Cleaver, remaining stuff tanky. Likes Rage, but doesn't benefit too much from Triforce (CDs too long). Applies shred for the actual ADC.

the huge difference is that you need to stack up BC first, after 6 hits, you have ~12% arpen per hi in average, which is a huge difference to LW. Many carrys do profit from triforce, even those on whom it isn't that cummon and therefor have acces to the rage passive for kiteing anyway. it definitly is strong on Corki, but not really stronger than the current one. For adc, current BC simply is stronger than the new one, if you don't built the current, why should you suddenly buy the new one?
