36lp loss after remake?

So I just played a game with a duo and he had a recurring bugsplat and had to fix his game, but he lost 36LP from the remake.

Is that even possible? I know you should lose LP when you are the cause of a remake, but 36lp? While she only losses 20ish lp for losing a game.

Can anyone confirm or refute this?

The losses are supposed to be equivalent to what you would have lost from losing the game anyway.

The dc’d player (or players) takes full LP losses or drop a promo game, and are also flagged by Leaver Buster
