I started playing on my smurf so I can practice toplane fiora starting from this season and broke out with high winstreak which I never had on placements.
As a result, Im placed in bronze 3 which is perfectly fine. But my concern is what MMR and LP I get after this result. Is it higher than going 5 wins 5 losses, or is it just the same?
RexZor1 votesPlay a game after placements if you get like 25 lp per match that means you are suppose to be out of bronze or atleast bronze 3. If you get like 18 then you are right where u suppose to be.

says its silver 2 level. Hmm....ok? It seems I have MMR a whole tier higher than my current one. Actually this smurf account Im talking about was silver 5. so it seems you actually get high mmr if you make winstreaks in placements.
Mysticman891 votesI'd be pretty wary of 3rd party MMR estimates, particularly this early in the season with relatively few games under your belt. Your actual MMR is only known by riot, 3rd party stuff doesn't have any way of getting the actual number and just guess based on those you match with/against.
Still, winstreaks make for high MMR's no matter how you go about it.
Mysticman891 votesWell, you certainly have a higher MMR compared to a 5-5 record, but that might be reflected in placing bronze 3 instead of bronze 4/5.
LP you get depends on your mmr relative to the division you're in, so potentially getting placed higher might mean you end up getting nearly the same LP/win either way (e.g. placing bronze 3 you might get 22 per win (but it'd be like 25 if you placed bronze 4), but going 5:5 to place bronze 4 you might get 22 per win, (but it'd be like 17 if you were magically bumped to b3)).
