Stop building him bruiser/tank. He's back to being an assassin, so start building full AD. Don't forget, there are lethality buffs on the horizon as well, which will be a huge buff for AD Shaco.

Build AD after his Q does 0 damage now. Why would I build AD when I can play Kazix who deals 1k damage with Q?

Because of how they changed his E. It scales with 120% BONUS AD at max rank now, meaning the more AD you build the more damage it does. This isn't including the execute damage, which makes his overall burst more effective vs. squishier targets. Level Q until rank 3, then max out his E. The stealth duration will be good enough, and the E max will help him scale better into the mid game.

This change absolutely KILLED AP shaco though. They need to buff his AP ratio on E again if they want to keep this change.... because it feels extremely bad. If riot doesnt want AP shaco to exist then they NEED to remove his AP ratios on everything.

It absolutely gutted AP Shaco though.

There's no reason to gut that when their whole assassin mini rework on him made both viable again and now they're doing the eve treatment by shifting him away from assassin to tank, and not they're gutting the AP version of him. For what?
