There is a difference between doing your job and getting carried.

A lot of people seem to think that if you don't get hyperfed in laning phase, you just got carried. For example, going 0/0/0 in lane and then start doing your job in teamfights is not getting carried. Neither is playing support and doing decently. Even if you lose lane, as long as you start doing your job for the team, it is not getting carried. Getting carried is you going 0/5+/0 in lane and constantly making bad decisions, yet you still win.

Some people are just stupid though. They'll see a 7-0 adc on their team, and still try to outplay their top laner and end up feeding. When you have somebody fed as hell on your team in another lane, just go even and you win. It's not hard.

Don't know about that, I haven't been able to go on a long carry streak recently, and as result I haven't been climbing. Maybe the lucky guys can rely on their teammates, but people with shit luck like me gotta carry pm every game in a winning streak or not climb at all.

As a Kog'Maw player I agree, I would go 1/3, 0/2, 0/1 or similar scores in lane and just delete the enemy team in teamfights later.

I get told I get carried a lot as a top laner. Yes, I won the game when I was 1/4/3. I also had 340 CS in 32 minutes and took 5 towers. If that's not doing my job, then I don't know what is.

People tend to forget that every member, even those who are weak, are important.

This is a team game, not an individual one.
