and give him some fucking skill expression? Because quite literally here is every miserable braindead zero fun experience with this asshat champion. Either:

  • You win lane through a series of building thornmail almost immediately and having a ton of CC or outdueling him early enough to where he can't survive the next 5 times you burst him.

or

  • He gets the first kill on you through blind fucking auto-attacking luck based purely off of having increased critical odds built into his kit and the rest of the lane is misery as he dives and ults from level 6 onward.

Whether he overshoots his E, fails to get his W slow off, Q's too early or whathaveyou, the fact that he always has the "LeldoublemyADwithcrit" backup plan practically 100% of the time is probably the stupidest and most toxic game mechanic to have ever existed. It makes trying to figure out if you can win a bout with him or not a crapshoot because oh gee, if he just so happens to be lucky, then you will die.

And the fact that if he's ahead he gets 4 full seconds of ignoring death to wail on you for free is probably the dumbest idea in the game.

tryn is probably the worst champion design in the game. absolutely nothing about him lines up as it should.

early game is heavily influenced by rng.

hes feast or famine. literally if he doesnt get lucky at lvl 1 or 2 and gets a cheese kill off a couple crits, he gets outscaled by his opponent.

if he does, he snowballs to the point of sillyness where his constant presence in top lane will eventually win him the game, either because he forces 3 people top to deal with him, or he just turret dives the guy defending the lane nonstop without counterplay.

mid to lategame he doesnt fulfull his fantasy of a babarian warlord who dives into the enemy team and is too stubborn to die. he just sucks ass in teamfights, avoids them and plays like a split push bot for the entire game.

every single aspect of tryns kit when it comes to gameplay is toxic. he needs a gameplay update probably more than anyone else.

Probably the worst part of him is that in order to make him actually usable, they made him able to ult through any form of CC. This ironically was a removal of one of the very few pitiful moments of skill in his kit where he would have to plan out when he should or shouldn't ult through a mountain of CC and if he might be able to survive.

So now, it's literally press R if low, any time any place. While this moved him away from garbage tier, it not only removed the only counterplay to his ult - lock the fucker down to oblivion - but also took away the most crucial moment of skill expression in his kit. The only times I see a Tryn die with his ult up now is if he literally just didn't think he'd be killed quite so fast, which is moronic.
