Could Lich Bane Veigar Bottom Lane?

Veigar W offers some INSANE wave clear when leveled, so I am wondering if Veigar could also go Bottom Lane if he built a Lich Bane in his build for extra tower damage.

Ziggs passive and W is what really makes it possible, lich is a bonus.

Ziggs bot doesn't work simply because he's a mage. It works because he's very very good at sieging towers. He always has been, it's just the weakness of bot tower that brought him into the bot lane recently. Just because Ziggs is going bot, doesn't mean any mage can go there and do just as well. ADCs, regardless of what the boards try to say, are still better at sieging than most champions, and still work well bot.

True enough. I was just wondering if a Bottom Lane Veigar could work out since, theoretically, he would get the most AP there in a Carry position since he has access to both the farm and poking two enemy champions.

He has a massive AOE zoning tool as his escape. The key is to not push the lane past river at all until you've hit over 100 stacks. Then BOOM you essentially win cause the enemy tries to hard to kill you, just giving you more stacks. Play it passive and you win lane every time.

Ive played Veigar bot a lot and yes.. it does work so long as your support understands how to play with it.

I would not recommend rushing lich though as you need AP in order to make it useful. Get your Lost Chapter first (so you can farm without having to go back for mana), then ROA or Lich second. ( I prefer ROA into death cap into lich). By mid/late game you can take turrets down in about 4 attacks... I even took 50% of an inhib with one AA.

Key word there is 'leveled'. Mages like having level advantages, as their power comes more so from their abilities than their items, which is why most mages aren't well suited to a duo lane where xp is shared. Also, rushing a lich bane on veigar seems suboptimal as he wouldn't even have that much ap early on.

Ziggs works bot because he can shove the wave super early due to the nature of his kit, his passive works to chip away at the tower early on, and his satchel to pop the last 25%, so he can snatch the first tower gold fairly reliably.

Destroying towers late is less big of a deal, and theres no particular appeal to a bot lane veigar over a mid lane veigar, who could also build lich bane mid-late if he wanted.
