Just take Bone Plating + Second Wind secondary and start Dshield. If you're still getting roflstomped in lane it's your fault.

Against champions like Akali your bone plating will do nothing to save you.

As a top laner i never have problems with people who take resolve secondary. Bone plating is super weak just hit them run and re engage. as for second win 0n the re engage dont half ass it and hard engage.

So, basically what I'm gathering is.

If you get countered in lane, play defensively so you can get your items on instead of being dumpstered in lane.

Sounds about right.
