20 minute cooldown for several games is a leaverbuster, and if you got that one you frequently dodge (and thus deserve it anyway)

The Fuzzy 0ne1 votesThey changed it... it's actually 15/20/30/60. But it seemed like it was part of the bug because I have never left a game before especially not in ranked, and I still got the 20min. But a support ticket fixed that.

Coffeevin2 votesAlso being absolutely unable to connect to a game isn't the same as just getting disconected. In a usual disconection issue that happends to riot servers the issue is just solved by closing the game. These connection issue wasn't just affecting a thousands of people if was just virtually impossible to connect to a game if you didn't get to the loading screen. I only ventured into 1 game unfortunately because i never got into the game but my point is that the "warnings" weren't clear at all and did not provide enough detail to understand the problem it was just a general warning saying you might get disconnected. That doesnt mean if you get disconnected you wont be able to connect to that game at all.
Ra1d2 votesi was on when the issue started, lost a match because of it since my minions were being pushed in but we had just won the last teamfight, spent 15 minutes trying to reconnect before the game finally ended. checked boards saw i wasnt the only one with the issue, so it mustve been a server issue. decided just to do something else came back a couple hours later good as new. riot is running a game with thousands if not millions of people trying to play at any given time. its to be expected that any issue with the servers will take a while to fix, it was also early in the morning and i doubt any of their primary staff were on the clock when everything went down
