I am officially on a 10 ranked game losing streak.
Will it ever stop? or nah? just dropping down to iron 4 , zero lp and then never win again [slayer-jinx-catface]

If youre on a 10 games losing streak in iron 4. You should probably be there anyways. But take a break and come back. Losing streajs happen. You need to accept that__

I'm not in iron .
I was almost silver 1 , 48 hours ago. Now almost bronze.
I took a break. The shit happened yesterday. And continued today. After taking a break
That shit has happened to me multiple times. Most recently was in my promos to Gold. Lost them twice, the continued to lose almost all the way down to s3, 0lp. Lost 15 out of 17 games.
That was the worst one but since January, I've been promoted to s2 and demoted back at least 20 times.
Matchmaking is SHIT.
Or maybe you're a roughly silver 3 player
No I'm not. I've been to s2 and s1 multiple times, and I will not be stuck in that hellhole of s3.
You actually think there is any meaningful difference between S3 and S2?
Not too much but s2 is just a bit better.
Imo, odds are your performance range is a bit wider. My personaly assumption and expectations are it Should be about 1-2 division range give or take a bit. So s2 would result in sometimes being at s3 or s1 as if your on the lower or higher end of the Titles Set MMR value your expected to preform better and worse then the value your given. MMR is not a set value its a mean representation of your performance. So theres wiggle room above and below.
Some quick questions, to test my theory here. Lets trying and find if your best and worst preformances might account for a higher range. This does not impact your mean performance but it means a string of 1 direction will slant your raiting more dramatically then a player who would be consistent in performances.
How many champs do you play? How many roles? What's your mains? Do you tilt easy? Can to stop tilted teammates? Do you cause Tilted teammates? Do you main Feast or Famine champs?
If you want to know why this matters, if you reduce your lower end worst case preformances you see your Mean avrage changing so your rank will improve from that, even if your best case games don't get remotely stronger.

How many champs do you play? My regular rotation is about 29 champions. How many roles? All five. What's your mains? Morgana, Annie, Lux, Zyra, Karma, Nami, Leona, Ashe, Jinx, Lissandra, Xayah, etc. Depends on the role. Do you tilt easy? Somewhat. Can to stop tilted teammates? I try but usually doesn't work. Do you cause Tilted teammates? I don't intentionally but if I'm pubstomping someone it's up to them if they tilt or not. Do you main Feast or Famine champs? No.

English please. At least in a way that I better understand, thank you. I answered your questions above.
Its about Consistency. Humans tend to look at their better games as a judgment of their personal skill. MMR systems track Data points, good and bad. The MMR system is going to give you a rating off each bit of data you give it, that includes games that you would personally not view as a good representation of your skill.
When you get a MMR rating its not an absolute value, Its an expectation for a range. The higher and lower end results impact this, For example 50 Could be the average between 0 & 100, but it can also be 45&55. So if your less Consistent, an off day or an On day will result in dramatic streaks. Look back to the 0&100 and 45&55, Lets pretend that is a players performance in a game. If you made this a RNG number generation game where higher # wins then the two have 50% odds to win.
So I wanted to try and get a feel for how many things might create a wider average for you. To many champions who you don't have the same skill level on makes you inconsistent in results. Making your teammates rage and want to lose impacts your results. Playing all or nothing champions impacts results. If you Tilt and make bad calls, impacts results, Not having the same skill at roles... well you get the point right?
The string of questions was to try and see how many things might create a gap between your on games, and your off games. Because that results in you potentially having more dramatic ladder shifts.
So, if your a player with inconsistency, you can climb a bit higher then your at currently by lowering that. Knock off some behaviors that hurt you and your average improves, for example you go from 0 to be 25 on your weaker games. 25&100 = 62.5
Your MMR rating is a math equation to build an average off the results of your game and in relation to the players your matched VS. Because its an equation it provides the same number value when the variables are the same for any player. Many players only focus on trying to get a higher best case result. When if all the want is to improve their rank they could lower a much faster way is to reduce their lower end results.
I cant do much with out the data in front of me but if you want to try and find your weaker picks take a look at every one you have 30-50 games minimum on and check the WR % on that that champion to the average WR % for that champion in your Tier. If you think your a God at X but you lose on them far more often then what is normal for players in your MMR then odds are your doing something wrong and don't have a good awareness of it... Because winning is the metric that matters.
Hope that's a bit easier to understand.
That is when you need to walk away from League.
I like to play in 16 Hour Increments for dodge resets.
From Iron to Silver 4, I have gotten to know the system quite well.

Look at my match history. Find a duo that's your rank so you can have two constants in your games instead of just one (yourself). It makes a HUGE difference.
Also, and just speaking from personal experience, take a week off ranked and just play normals and stop giving a shit about winning.
