Getting punished for other people mistakes

Just got out of a game where I was very fed and so was my jungle and my mid laner. We had all of the lanes pushed to the enemies base and baron. Unfortunately our bot lane decided that we did not deserve to win because our jungler didn’t gank them enough so they refused to group and end. We lost because even though we were fed we could 3v5 as the enemy adc was also pretty fed and the had a lot of cc. Why am I getting punished for something I cannot control and is another player’s mistake.
