Unfortunately it's a necessary evil, sorta like Triforce and Muramana.

The champions who make the best use of the items, are only good because those items are so strong on them.

It's the only reason Aatrox can be a devourer jungler. If they nerf BoRK I won't have a devourer jungler that's fun... :(

Well, they could always make BotRK work better on tanks and worse on squishies. Make its %hp damage be %bonus hp damage instead. Basically make it the AD tank shredder it was supposed to be instead of a generalistic AD/AS/LS buy.

Trinity is good because its costly, and Muramana is powerful because few get good results from it as it is. BotRK is neither.

Oh I like that. Bonus HPS and they can up it to 10% or 12% to keep its numbers the same vs Tanks without hurting squishies.

This does not fix the issue with Devourer and on hit champs like Yi and Vi (just freaking make it a ghost hit every 3 attack and be done with it)

Same. I posted that it deals 400 bonus damage against a 5000 health Sejuani. "but armor" it's still 400 damage worth of gold or 14400. "but current health". At 10% HP BotRK is 40 AD worth to a 5000 health Sejuani. 160 bonus damage against a 2000 HP ADC. "but armor" "but armor". ARE FUCKING BASIC ATTACKS NOT AFFECTED BY ARMOR? THE GOLD RATIOS STAY THE SAME! BotRK is fucking ridiculously gold effcient. And you heal for the Ruined King damage dealt!

It's effective no matter what amount of health you have. I see myself dealing like 20 extra damage to minions. OMG ELISE OP 8% CURRENT HEALTH NERFED TO 4%! BotRK deals that every attack.

Well yeah, and for ADC's that use it, you get the added bonus of self-peel from melee or far stronger chasing potential to feed yourself. It's what makes Vayne such a pain in the ass - if you ever need to back out of a fight with her, there's not a thing you can do about it because she's already got bonus MS towards you and she just stole more of yours.

Blade is broken, but people have kinda accepted it and don't seem to care much anymore. It doesn't seem like its ever going to get nerfed, in fact they buffed it recently.

I think botrk's synergy with other items is what makes it so strong. On it's own, it's an ok item, but added with other on hit items makes it incredibly strong.

No it's one of the strongest one item powerspikes besides triforce. You can build it on bruisers to trade well in lane and deal relevant damage all game long. It was often built on shyvana and udyr jungle even when they went cinderhulk. It turns vayne into a weak champion to a dangerous opponent. The active lets melee champions stick to their targets, helps assasins like zed, and helps carries kite. The %hp damage is great for any situation, and the combination of attack speed, lifesteal and ad in one items means it's always a good buy. I'm not saying bork needs to be nerfed, but it's silly to say that it needs other items to scale or that it wasn't good before sated devourer came out. Compared to say infinity edge, you can outrade most of the time, and all in better unless the enemy gets very lucky with crits. Compared to wit's end, which is supposed to be the on hit champion alternative, bork is vastly superior, because it does more damage, provides sustain, and most importantly, provides a slow. You say bork is a synergistic item, but compared to crit builds which don't work at all until infinity edge is combined with another crit item, and don't outscale until another big ad item is built, bork really doesn't need other items.

Items that don't have cooldowns on offensive passives must be tough to balance. Nashor's Tooth only works on a small number of champs and isn't nearly as significant a power spike purchase compared to AD champs getting BotRK.

Me too. But its frustrating because it wasn't originally planned, or designed, to be a marksman item. It was suppose to be an item to help dueling bruisers out, like Shyv and Trundle. But that reality was lost the instant the item was released.

Annoying thimg is that for some up champs, botrk is almost core. I always buy it on teemo. Teemo is lacking after the rework.

bortk on vayne is better than on any other adc . devourer on vayne is better than on any other adc. Vayne is just a better adc.

Vayne can take out an entire team by herself. Like why even bother playing another adc?

Almost no one complains about Aatrox or Shen, and some of those champions actually do have toxic kits.

A sated Aatrox is a close to unstoppable force with his heal and extra damage, and shen is just a gimic due to the fact that it does take a long time to get sated due to his low clear times, but when sated his damage gets crazy and can almost duel anyone.

Aatrox had a bug for a while that prevented him from abusing Devourer, not sure if they fixed it or not. As for Shen, that just shows that almost anyone can abuse Devourer.

BotRK is overtuned on basic attack centric champions because it needs to be a viable alternative on AD Casters to beat HP stacking. It's basically the opposite of Last Whisper.

A broken item always bought on champions or with a second item that can use it to it's absolute bullcrap level doesn't make the second part any less broken. Now I'll agree with you that botrk is stupid good. like family guy stupid. That doesn't really take away the fact vayne still has BS levels of self peel and %max health true damage. or Sated increases all on hit effects by %50. I mean what other item or kit has that much of a power spike?
