Do people actually like the state of the game

AP MF support and mid, trundle, dr mundo, spooky ghost... there's too much broken shit right now games are too snowbally we were ACTUALLY getting close to balance last season toward the end of the season, but teleport kept that from happening.

there needs to be a big patch soon, i'm aware that it's preseason but this might be the worst preseason to date

It is winter -- Snowball season :D summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 But ya, rito gotta fix the snowball, here's a list of ways to come back from a losing game:

Heh. All you need is a little determination :p (the list is blank :c)

You can get a split push champion and go crazy. Thats about it though unless your team is either a.) super innately good late game or b.) has so much crowd control combo potential that you almost innately win team fights.

Other than the current state of Thunderlords in relation to all the other keystones and the joke that is FQC, I actually rather like it. I like how towers give more gold. I like how longer death timers make the mid game more decisive. And I especially like the overall increased pace of the game. Last seasons games just dragged on for way too fucking long.

Personally I do not like the state of the game. Its almost impossible to come back from early mistakes or from having a feeder on your team even if you personally are doing well. Also there seems to be more and more cheaters than ever. Just in the past two nights alone I have encountered two obvious scripters that were playing regular games. That means they were cheating simply to cheat, not even to climb ranked. It seems like there should be a better way to detect and stop cheaters. I mean its Riots game they should be able to detect foreign code right? Maybe instead of just perma banning people after months of them cheating they should have a flagging system that ques cheaters with other people that are cheating that way they can have their fun but not ruin it for the rest of us until they ban them all in a wave again. I am not talking about ranked but its becoming commonplace even in normal games.

On another note it kinda sucks that Mundo has to be banned every game or picked. Am I the only one that thinks Mundo is broken? I play Mundo and I honestly don't feel right playing him at the moment because its so broken.

I like the current preseason. Although things get snowbally, it isn't impossible to come back. It's hard and it should be.

Saw it in one of Geranimo's games.

I don't like that Rammus can 100-0 squishies. I don't like that Trundle is an absolute menace in lane, every time I see one he stomps - period. No skill or effort involved. I don't like that Mundo is almost unkillable. I don't like that MF will do tons of damage even when behind in items. I don't like that Zed is being picked more often. I don't like how Teamfight orientated games are, gone are the days of split pushing and backdooring. I don't like that Baron gives you pushing power/teamfight power + absolute defence against splitpushing/backdooring. I don't like how the new Homeguards makes it harder for non-tank based teams to close the game out. I don't like the LW changes. I don't like how some Ranged champions abuse Thunderlords to dominate the earlygame. I don't like how ADCs have a ton of springback potential now. You can destroy them in laning phase and mid game, but if you don't focus them down in TFs then you're fucked. Shouldn't be like that, a really behind ADC shouldn't be able to penta just because the enemy ignored him for a little while. I don't like how hard it's become to close the game out if you're playing an assassin. I don't like how relevant tanks are. You can absolutely dumpster them early yet they will still spring back and be useful - to top it off most of them have a strong early game now. I don't like Illaloi - especially not those who build full tank. There's more, but thinking about all of the things I don't like are making me mad. =/

The thing about tanks is that with all the assasins and fighters basically stomping games, they pose the biggest threat especially when they are able to outdamage you while tanking what little damage you are doing to them.

I really think if ADs weren't getting such a "dong licking" from the devs right now that the Tank meta wouldn't be hitting people so hard. Assassins aren't really meant to be able to take on tanks, rather it's the other way around.

And the only reason I can see Rammus 100- 0 anything is if you aren't running away like you should be doing as a squishy especially an AD squishy. His atk scales with his armor by 25% and if you were crazy enough to have a full AD team his very presence in your lane is going to be hell because only his ARMOR is what boosts his AA and w.

Also if tanks are really giving you trouble item 3036 item 3071 item 3142 item 3153 item 3135 item 3151 and Kiting actually do work if you take time to build them instead of just going with flat high damage.

Nah bro, I ran like a bitch when I saw him and he almost 100-0'd me. Survived with like 150 hp. If I didn't run straight away I'd be dead. He was 0/2/10 and I was like 5/2 Tanks are ridiculous because when they snowball they snowball the entire game. When Assassins now ball they snowball themselves. If you can snowball consistently as a Tank then you're a shoe in for a super high win rate. If you can consistently snowball as an Assassin then your win rate still be kinda up in the air, unless you're significantly better than your opponents.

Again, as an Assassin you are not supposed to be able to 1v1 a tank. It defeats the purpose of them if they are just as easy to kill as squishy champs. But Armor/Magic Penetration items are here for a reason. You most likely won' be able to outright 1v1 them but in a team fight they won't last as long so your team is now in a better position to fight the team that tank is protecting. And believe it or not Tanks got a slight nerf. But what I am noticing is when my Presence as Rammus completely causes half the enemy team to run away from me alone none of them have actually STACKED anti tank items. But no, as an assassin it's not supposed to be shocking seeing you die to the enemy Tank because you decided to solo them.

  • Almost got 100-0'd
  • Ran like a little bitch as soon as I saw him "HURR DURR, AS AN ASSASSIN YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO 1v1 Tanks" Wow, do you even read what I fucking write?

OK, allow me to put it this way.

If Renekton sees MasterYi trying to push his lane guess who is going to be chasing who. Tanks are meant to counter assassins whether completely shutting them down or getting in the way of them killing squishies.

Renekton's a bruiser you fucking idiot. Also, chances are that a 5/2 Yi would shit on a 0/2/10 Renekton. Unless he's bronze.

Rude....

Alright I'll admit bad example. I'll just say Tanks are the rock to an assassin's Scissors. How is it fair to anyone if nobody can even try to stand up to an Assassin? Also about the K/D/A assists offer reward as well and CS is also a factor. Another thing is as Rammus doesn't have to build anything but defense because his AA and w increase with his armor. There is also to take in account the gear you had and the gear he had.

Also let's not bring up rank because it's kind of proven to be pointless as there seem to be plenty of shitty players no matter what rank they somehow found themselves in.

People bring up rank because people like you talk a lot of shit. :)

Trying to explain how Classes respond to eachother is talking shit to you? And you didn't even address what I just said and went straight for another rude remark so, I'm now assuming you ran out of an argument and are trying to cover it up by saying things about rank.

5 kills is about 1500 g, gold from 10 assists vary but can be up to 1500 too. Add to that CS etc. Your logic is broken as fuck "you fucking idiot".

In short, no. The Rift is a mess especially at the support position seeing as the new ward related support items suck.

I disagree with this though: getting close to balance last season

Last season's tank/juggy meta was bar none the most un-fun season I've played in League of Legends.

nonono i know which meta you're referring to and there was a patch after that when the only thing that was annoying/imbalanced was the 4 unholy mids and TP: veigar yasuo lux and diana

Nope.

I've been against this preseason disaster since the beginning, and the following patches have more than solidified that I'm probably not going to be playing much longer if this is the direction Riot in their infinite detached wisdom wants to take League in.

Personally I like this season so far. Yeah there are things I don't like the Ap items nerfs and removal of trinkets which hurt my playstyle but I'll get used to it. As for all the snowballing according to some pretty big players its starting to calm down so that's nice. And as all the broken stuff I haven't had that of a hard time dealing with it and its a lot better than last preseason with red smite fizz and warwick.

I've been having fun. Some champions I like I can't seem to make work, but I've been branching out.
