morde's changes completely alter his identity

my biggest problem was already stated in another thread, but I'll go ahead and throw it out here

they're altering morde's playstyle, and completely. he has a useful niche already, and right now he has clear strengths and weaknesses.

q - giving an amp up in damage sounds great on paper, but nobody with a lick of sense is gonna allow him to bash their heads in when he is ramping up, unless they're stupid as hell. direct nerf to solo lane morde, because he's gonna need a support to allow him to stick with his base movespeed getting nerfed

w - nerf directly targeting solo lane morde. he cannot use this ability without allied champs around, so he ends up not being able to use it at all in a solo lane. currently, its situationally useful, allowing you to w a minion and run away, but its very situational and won't always work.

e - direct nerf to morde's damage numbers, direct buff towards morde when he builds gunblade, direct nerf towards morde when he builds wota. with the decreased damage numbers, no midlaner is going to allow morde to fight them when gunblade is fucking expensive, and trying to get there takes too long. wota offered cheap stats and allowed him to keep up with a lot of midlaners in fights, making midlane morde plausible. now, he'll turn from iffy early game against most midlaners to getting absolutely shat on

ult - damage appears to have been nerfed (go figure), and the dragon steal is unnecessarily situational, but you know, LCS big plays, right????

nerfing morde's solo lane play purely for the sake of attempting to cram him into a bot lane meta is really fucking retarded, imo. when they reworked sion, they kept to his strengths and weaknesses, and removed some of the dumber aspects (AP sion) of his kit. it was one of the best reworks, if not the best rework, ever done.

this new morde rework attempts to cater to some of his weaknesses (sustain damage, utlity, duo laning morde?????) while outright nerfing his strengths (solo laning, raw damage nerfs, increasing counterplay to a kit which already hosts a decent amount of counterplay)

its like if riot decided to change xerath from an AP based champion to a tanky bruiser DOT based champion like singed, AKA fucking stupid
