Queuing into wrong role for free S's

A thought just occurred to me, especially when playing with a premade who's in on it, could one not just queue in as a role their champion never plays, then get a "free" S playing where they'd normally go?

Like queue in as jungle, pick a squishy mage that nobody would ever jungle with, and go mid. Then proceed to get an S with 3 kills and 5 assists because the only person who tried to jungle that champ only got 1 kill and 3 assists.

Eh. It doesn't work that way. The system is smart enough to tell what lane you are actually playing in. In your scenario, it wouldn't count that person as the jungler, it would count them as the mid laner.

I don't like taking information from only one source, can anybody else confirm this?

Yeah, my friend and I duo bot all the time and he got ADC when it filled us, and I traded the mid I got to the support, so we laned together. He was Karma and got an S with like.. 20 CS. No way in hell would ANY ADC get an S with only 20 CS 30 minutes in.

Also, it seemed to grade me more like Ezreal ADC than Ezreal Mid usually gets graded, but the grading system is wonky enough for that to have been my imagination.

Oh, and last but not least, Ezreal ACTUALLY going support with Frost Queen's gets graded a LOT different from Ezreal "support" building ADC and getting all the farm.

Sorry if I mucked up somewhere, but ACTUAL support Ezreal gets graded as a support, whereas being queued in the support role and building ADC gets graded as ADC, for sure. And ADC-queued Karma building support items and not CSing gets graded as a support. Mid --> ADC seems to work the same way, but I don't really have enough info to tell there.
