Why Veterans are leaving and why other players will follow

Some of us have been there since beta and enjoyed a lot the game. We began to say to our friends come this game is fun we began to makes videos on it on the old youtube. And this spread like crazy without us LoL would never have been famous we represent perhaps 1/4 of the actual players.

We are the guys wich could play more than 8 games a day and never getting bored of it.

We are the guys which spent more than 500-1k $ in skins.

We made this game famous. And now this new community shits on us... this generation of COD fanboys. And riot seems prefering this new players.

Yes for sure that if you remove the vision that made lol famous your game won't stay famous.

Many of you argue : you are burned out ! Man we arent all casual dumbasses unlike you we are the kind if guys being able to enjoy games all our life...

I still play age of empire 2 , i still play warcraft 3, i never stopped playing star wars battlefront 2 by pandemic. And many veterans are just like me. We aren't like most of the players we came from another generation of gaming. Most of the streamers are like us they played a lot of those old games like stracraft warcraft age of empires. Those games were games that require a lot of brain and skill.

Now that 3/4 of the players aren't vets and that riot can't live without their money. They have to perpetually change the game. Because this generation of players you could give them the perfect game and they couldn't settle for it...

I'll say yes change is good change is refreshing but what kind of change ?

You can't remove or change core aspects of lol. You can't change what made League of Legends famous. If you do people won't be happy.

Anyway riot casus will leave one day or another. Veterans will always stay if the game wont change in a wrong direction. You made a bad calculation cause you are loosing the only permanant source of incomes you get.

Moreover the people that are attracting new players to your game aren't mostly the lcs. It's the friendship. Some veterans players will ask new players you did see the lcs heard of lol ? Try it with me. Or some veterans streaming on the net.

Most of the streamers you do like or the players you like to see are Veterans and they are really unhappy because the game doesn't represent what they did like from it.

They make money from the game yes. But will you continue your job if you don't like it ? Because that's what is actually happening. They are disgusted to see that riot made lol unrecognisable.

This didn't begin this year many famous streamers began mostly since 2016 to say bad things about numerous changes. This season was the drop of water that made the vase overflow. They didn't really expressed themselves directly cause they couldn't many of them have agreements and contracts with riot. But this years many had enough of it.

Loose the vets you'll loose famous streamers. They'll began to play other games and you'll loose definitively the casus. It's not that i don't like Casus my young brother is one of them. But the reality is that casuals just follow trends. And if it isn't a trend anymore they'll will stop...

We veterans we won't stop of playing if we still like it. We do play one week what you do play in one month. And because of that we can indentify way faster than other players what is wrong with the game.

And for us this game is getting very unpleasant. It lost it's magic, the magic of what made this game fun. When i'm going to play i don't say to myself anymore that man i can't wait to play 40min epic games with a lot of turnarounds. Why ?

In the past :

• turnaround were frequent
• most of the games had backdoors
• your team could be 10-40 but if you used your brain you could win
• in teamfights only the most skilled one could make carry
• teamfights were 10-15 sec long now they are 5-7sec long.
• turrets protected you and were really big punishers.
• games were 25-40min long
• characters had all ad and ap ratios allowing variety of playstyles
• less objectives in the map made laning phases more important.
• less damage made fights last longer letting you more possibilities to outplay opponents.

THIS LADIES AND GENTLEMAN YOU LIKE IT OR NOT... THAT'S THE RECIPE THAT MADE THIS GAME FAMOUS !

And Riot just destroyed it !
