Game Modes in the Rotating Queue should be more like Dark Star
The focus of the game modes in the rotating queue should focus more on unique things like Dark Star rather than regular Summon's Rift games with slight modifications.

Dark Star is unique, but I don't find it all that fun personally. But if your point is that there should be more unique, interesting game modes, I agree.
Yeah I don't find the game mode itself particularly fun (mostly because I don't like Thresh very much), but it is much more interesting than just adding a 6th player to a Summoner's Rift game.

You know what I think could be fun? URF + Doom Bots. Doom Bots spells, URF rules, random chances of crazy shit happening every 5th minute, every time Dragon is taken, when Rift Herald is taken, and whenever Baron Nashor is taken. Whichever team pushes down the enemy team's inner turrets (all 3) or gets to 50 kills first summons Little Devil Teemo to push for them.
I have another idea for a Halloween gamemode on Treeline. Lanterns appear around the map. Capturing Lanterns will turn them either off or on. Lanterns that are turned on will propel Fog to the opposite side of the map. They can also block Fog from going past them. Lanterns that are turned off will do nothing, but will turn on if Captured. If a Lantern is off, Fog will rush into the area over the course of a few seconds. Fog reduces vision range of champions inside it, damaging both them and turrets. Fog also covers the entire map if no lanterns are lit. Killing an enemy champion will spawn Fog surrounding their death location. The Fog spawned by this will dissipate after a couple of seconds, but will not be repelled by Lanterns. Fog can also stack on an area, so capturing a Lantern to send Fog onto an enemy turret and killing an enemy champion will cause the turret to take double damage from the Fog. It will also shut down the turret entirely, allowing you to kill it as long as you can withstand the Fog. Minions don't spawn. Fog deals a set amount of damage per second, spread across all targets in the range. The target with the most health will take the most damage, but every champion and turret in the range will take damage from the Fog. Fog damage is in true damage.
