Silver is more toxic than Bronze?

I was hardstuck Bronze for almost a year, and spend some time in Iron too.

Now I got to Silver, I see things I didn't see much in Bronze:

• People going nuts in Champ select when I pick Velkoz support (say troll pick, if you choose that champ I will int / flame )
• People leaving their lane if they die once. For example we get ganked, ADC dies and the supp survives. Adc says Fuk you and goes to mid lane, even though midlane tells them to back off. They refuse to go back to botlane.
• People soft afk in base more. 'Oh game is over at 6 min, I'll wait in base'
• People already giving up before the game started. 'Lol they got Morde & Yasuo ? FF 15 or I afk'
