I Hate The Pro Scene in League of Legends

Its just a massive dick sucking fest for the community, following what they play and then bringing it here and enforcing a meta till next week or patch or whenever. Look at Vladimir, he was considered trash by many and people and everyone wanted buffs, now with him being untouched, has become the #1 ban pick over Kindred and Irelia because he was played in LCS. Also Iceborn Ezreal was rarely seen till Bjergsen used it and now he's every fucking Ezreal I face.

Can the pros just say Zed and Lucian are trash tier and say Nunu mid and Urgot ADC is the new meta?

the pros don't really say what's strong, the patch does and the pros just find it and play it. if a team picks the weakest champs and the others pick strong champs, the pros picking weak champs aren't really going to win that much and won't stay pro. the pros just try to find whats the strongest and play it as well as they can so they can win. it's really up to riot to decide what's strong and weak. even if there aren't any lcs, people would still learn about what's strong and what's weak.

That's not the pro scene. That's the mindless followers who can't think for themselves scene.

Explanation is quite simple, really. People want to win. People will try to find "shortcuts" to win.

Pros, AKA the "best players of the game" saying something is strong? They must be right, because they are the "best players of the game", right? So if I'm playing something the "best players of the game" are playing, that will increase the chances of me winning!

This is pretty much your typical player's thought process.

LCS doesn't create the meta the ranked players do... For example volibear is meta right now with one of the strongest ranked champ, yet he isn't seen in lcs.

The only thing I hate about the pro scene is when my favourite champions get strong, it never lasts very long until the pros start playing them and they get banned every game until they're nerfed. Would be nice if they could stay a secret and be untouched for 6 or 7 patches...

Otherwise though, it's life. The pros are going to find what's strong. Ideally, what's strong should be difficult to play champions (or champions that require a lot of coordination), thereby making them weak in solo queue. Unfortunately, we're seeing more often than not this season that the strongest champions are solo carries and/or easy-to-play champions, which leads to solo-queue getting ridiculously repetitive.
