Hurray Urgot buffs!

Is what I'd like to say... but...

Okay, well, let's just run down the list.

The early leg damage nerf makes him less abusive in lane, which is healthy for Urgot. It wasn't particularly hard to just play passive and catch an enemy who got a little too close and then shotgun away 3/4's of his health, and now since his leg cooldown isn't reliant upon CDR to make it not obnoxiously long, items without bonus CDR feel like a real option to rush first. I like this a lot, it's a good trade in power.

His Ult speed increase is... I personally feel like it wasn't entirely necessary, as before it felt like enemies could dodge it reasonably well but that it also wasn't the hardest ability in the world to hit. Now with the speed increase that's given to the ult, it's starting to look more like a Lee Sin Q in that it's almost entirely on the player using it whether they hit it or not - that kind of missile speed doesn't feel very avoidable, and for such a meaty ult I'm not sure I'm okay with that kind of buff. Guess we'll play that by ear, though.

What I'm disappointed with is the Q buff. And no it's not because he didn't need it, god knows his Q was kind of an ugly little thing hanging off his kit - it's that it doesn't really fix the primary issue of it. It fixes the secondary issue, that it always seemed like it took too long to explode, but the issue I always had with it is this: the fuck does it do?

Yes, it slows for a short period of time and does a teensy bit of area damage. Goody. But the only other real thing it does is marks targets for Purge to hit, but the issue with that is that his E and R both also do that. So if his Q's purpose is basically only to accomplish putting a mark on an enemy, the question remains as to what makes it more crucial than Urgot's E or his R?

Urgot's E repositions enemies into unfavorable areas and puts them on the side of Urgot where he might not have gotten shotgun procs off of yet.

Urgot's R slows and gives the function it's supposed to: marks a target for death. Using it as the first ability fired out gives Urgot a basically guaranteed Purge target and will immediately reel in the enemy once he's finished his burst. Both of these abilities play really well into Urgot's kit and feel like they actually belong.

This Q still feels like a piss grenade. It's nothing but decisively minor ranged harass that serves no other reason than to annoy enemies or to give you just one more ability to rely on in-case you accidentally missed both your E and your R or maybe you just need to redirect Purge at the last second, but it still hardly has any impact. Can we get something actually real on this ability? As it stands it's the most unsatisfying thing to ever hit in Urgot's kit, and quite possibly in the entire game.

yeah his Q is a little lackluster but it still has a purpose. which is to poke from far away and to slow his opponent so he can get close.

His Q kinda feels like half an ability. If they tack a bit of mana refund on it, it could probably be his farm ability OR they could give it more ad scaling so that its like a mini tactical nuke OR just decrease the cooldown so would be a spammy harass/waveclear option.

Im actually pretty okay with it being a surgical nuke. Give it an incredibly small range (were talking a fourth of a teemo in width), give it satisyfying sounds and animations (because urgot, this hulking dakka monster... has no dakka. No kapow. No ftoooo), and most importantly make it HURT if it hits. Urgot is iths chemtech being of pure willpower and yet he has nothing to support it.

The only problem I had with his Q is the delay made it impossible to hit anyone that wasn't sitting still in lane. I'm super happy about the changes.
