plz change gp, or remove him so my allies dont pick this waste of a champ.

What have you done?

Gp used to be occasoinally picked. Had someviablity to him. Now he's just advertised and all these free to play players want to play this GP. But can't do it. You want to "promote split push". That is the claimed direction of the game.

So.. what does gp do that 80 other champs cant do better? I can't see a single use for the barrels. Are you supposed to bait ppl toward them? Well, I've seen a teemo before and I know not to chase him because of the baits. So It's pretty fair to say, it's pretty easy to foresee when gp wants to barrel bait. And the easiest counter to it. Not walk into it. I mean.. the barrel is there, I can see it. So... "step", I'm safe. Sure he has somewhat of a sustain I guess through oranges.

But so do many other tops with a self heal and catalyst. I can eat an orange after CD and use mana. Or i can irelia dive and heal through w r. What does Gp do when he runs out of mana? turn into a melee champ who gets pressured when oom FORCING all jungle to cover or lose top. I dont see this advantage over playing say.. riven, jax, morde, rengar. any no cost top.

Sure gp has movespeed. But that's not too hard to counter. Any brawler on team can make a frozen mallet while tank makes randuin. And suddenly you counter all enemy movespeed. So where is gp advantage? At least with rally over barrels gp did somethign for his teamfights. If you are impressed by his barrel AOES play gragas. Passive heal, build catalyst out sustain most tops and drop barrels at range that slow and burst entire team with placement disruption.

I could go on all day about just about anybody top that can do it better than new gp.

All you've done is brainwash free players into thinking he is a new shiny useful top who can split push. Heres the problem. These free players can't make the proper desicions of when to be splitting and when to be with team. If you want a split pusher, get a yi jungle win a teamfight send allies to 1 lane and yi to another. Play tryn top. Play teemo top. Play singed top. That global ult is oh so useful for the .5 seconds it catches 1 enemy so I can get in range. You know what else is useful? If low elo players played tanks proper. Instead of constantly flinging themselve at enemy. They guard carry, buy a righteous glory and lead the carry into a thought out engage and peel for them. Which can be done by any tank out there..

In times I've seen some patch changes that I was like "what the hell did they change that for?" But I later understood it, changed items, or just lived with it. This change though.. is just killing me because not only have you ruined a champ. But you've made him uber popular and my allies cant resist picking him instead of a real top.

I'm curious to see how many others think GP got killed.
