Funny thing about balance..

Is that this "matchmaking system" is completely void of balance.

I shouldn't feel as if every single match I play matchmaking expects me to carry my team.

Sure once or twice a week I see a few players that I wouldn't mind keep playing with. But overall bronze, just gets worse everyday.

I remember 3 years ago when league used to be fun. It's too far gone now. I've played in a few gaming communities, and I think everyone would agree LOL has the worst community alive.

What really ticks me off. Is that LOL is not a hard game in concept. If you paid any attention at all to the game selection screen you will notice that average game time for ranked is over 30 minutes. So Why not pace yourself, for a 30 minute game? You spend 2 minutes staring at a load screen seeing what 10 champs are in the match. So it's not hard to see at a glance which side should have early advantage, and which side has late game potential. If your team has vayne, nas, mundo. Maybe it's a good idea to just hang back, gain a level or two. If enemy team is loaded with 4 assassins. Maybe back off on early game, let them scale down and then run into them. PACE YOURSELF.

I'm not a math genius. But i do have enough sense to count. One of the first things I've noticed about this game, and every other competitive game I've ever played. Is that, when a person has a death, somebody gets credit for the kill. And a reward. So when an ally dies every 35 seconds. That is another enemy recieving a free reward while my ally cries and cries for help. Then dies again within 2 minutes. So in theory... if you don't want your enemy to have kills and e rewarded with gold Can't this be accomplished by say.. not dying? Down here in bronze though, I'll be at 2 deaths on a 28 death team that is 12 kills behind.

My allies cant stop dying, I get punished with the loss. My allies have no awareness or foresight. I get punished with the loss. Yet at work on a team of 5 if 3 people aren't carrying their own weight. 5 people don't get fired. 3 do and 2 get a promotion. That is real world balance. Here we just have "ok, which team fed less? They win. Then we will flip a coin and see how much LP is gained or lost, then randomly stick 5 random players together again."

If anything this recent grading system is similar to what I've been hoping to see for years. Acknowledgement of the individual performance regardless of team stats. If I jungle and my 3 lanes lose. It's gg. There is very little hope of recovery for lanes that just cannot stay alive for any ammount of time. So why punish the individual when he was dragged down by the team? How is that fair? if 3 lanes go negative KDA yet solo jng can still be 3-0 on a team that is 4-12. The system should recognize that 1 player may lose in the end, but is not the root cause of that lose. Make note of it. Then when it happens to that person in every game ever played. Then maybe the system should say "you know what, maybe just maybe if we give this guy less dead weight, he could go up!". Instead it seems the current matchmaking system just likes to do... randomness. I see no balance in putting experienced players with new players. Get these deaths off my team.

Your rant will do nothing for you. I get its frustrating but you cant change your teammates. You get good ones and you get bad ones. You cant win them all. Instead of putting all this energy into raging how bad your teammates are, Focus on what mistakes you make and correct them.. I used to be like you thinking it was just the teams, and sometimes it is. Not ever game is winnable but most are. Just focus on becoming better.

I find the biggest thing is that at lower elo's, because everyone (including those guys feeding) believe they personally need to carry each game to win. So, many people play an all-or-nothing strategy. They turret dive early hoping for the kill. If they fail their opponent gets the kill, if they succeed they do. They then proceed to try again. It results more often than not in one person getting a lot of kills on their lane opponent and hard carrying while no one in any other role gets any impact.

Agree! though, Im one of the lower scum! haha. The balance is definitely off , ive had a couple of super cool experienced people come in and whoop a$$ with us and every time i died I felt so bad! It would be good to not have that kind of pressure. I can see that to my experienced teammates us lower folk who are still learning can be a nuisance. Luckily I have a good mentor who has me nicely addicted, so everytime some badA$$ jungler comes in and rips me apart I dont feel sad for it :)
