What would you prefer to change it with? Doesn't even last long compared to other slows and and roots. Actually why shouldn't assassins have it if they only get it after being unseen? Not like frozen mallet where you just have to hit someone or Ryman with abilities.

It's not a root. Roots prevent you from using dashes or a flash to get away. So it's not "basically a root". It's not even close to a root. It's only for a quarter second anyway
