Why can't we TP to the Nexus building or Inhibitors?
Just curious
Just curious
Gives towers more strategic importance. If you can teleport to the towers in front of inhibitors/nexus but not to the inhibs/nexus themselves, that adds strategic value to the towers. Inhibitors respawn and nexus ends the game, so teleporting is restricted to towers, which are lost permanently but don't end the game, and the impact that taking objectives has on the ability to teleport is maximized.
teleport used to give invulnerability to even towers if i remember correctly. I'm assuming it was a balancing thing cus that'd be broken back in the day.
You're mistaken. One of the easiest ways to waste a teleport is to try teleporting to a nearly dead tower as the enemy is attacking it. Your teleport will go on cooldown, but you won't go anywhere when it dies.
They said "used to." Not sure if that were the case in the past, but just to clarify.
He said "used to give", so he actually means that in the past you were able to make towers invulnerable with it. Don't know if this was the case, didn't hear about it. But you are correcting him for something he didn't say.
he may have said used too. but that is also incorrect. there was a summoner spell called fortify which made towers invulnerable and shoot twice as fast. and it effected every tower on your team.
I do believe that was only Dominion. Can't be certain, because I joined in s5, but I'm pretty sure, at least...
this may be true. I played like 6 games of dominion and maintained a 100% win rate.
Fortify use to be on SR, it was removed sometime early s2 (I think, can't remember exactly and don't feel like looking it up). I believe a similar spell was on Dominion (and kept) but not 100% sure because didn't play Dominion much.
Fortify was removed because it was stalling out games too much, especially when the team had multiple fortifies which was becoming increasingly popular.
As others have sad, Fortify was on SR. Eventually removed because teams with 5 of those could stall pretty hard.
What was on Dominion was Garrison; it interrupted capture attempts, buffed the towers regeneration, and raised it's attackspeed. Was incredibly handy to have, especially as tank alá Leona or Nautilus. You could do clutch-denies of points, and then proceed to tank 2-3 people with it on the tower under the right circumstances. It could also greatly weaken enemy points, so it had some application for pushes/dives as well.
affected* affect= verb effect= noun
As easy as 2+2.
Effect is also a verb, although its most common usage is as a noun.
I know, but for most contexts, it's affect when it's a verb. It irks me to see this silly mistake, the same goes for its and it's. So many people don't know that they must use its when it's a possessive. Like the guy above me, he wrote ''it's attackspeed'', when it's ''its attackspeed''. It is so easy to distinguish the two.
While this is true. I don't give a shit as you knew exactly what i meant <3
Who's nexus are we talking about here? I sure would love to TP into the enemy's nexus...
Bruh, really. You can't even teleport to an enemy tower.
but what if I want to teleport into the enemy nexus?
ward?
or play TF
that works too
I was thinking, "duh," but then I realized you meant teleporting to your own team's structures. :D

Because you can Recall but waste extra 4 seconds.
/S
counterplay?
probably so splitpushing is a viable thing.
ward, minions.
dumb question
