@Riot what's the general rule of thumb for Juggernauts and CC?

i.e Chogath now having crowd control on all of his basic abilities, Urgot is keeping his suppress and fear + Q slows I believe, R slows on the initial hit

I'm curious how you balance this out, these two seem to boast a high amount of crowd control compared to other juggernauts who are usually a low-utility role, and Cho'Gath isn't really on the low end of their damage spectrum like Volibear is.

cho is in a class called cho, stop making him sounding like a juggernaut because you want to this is begining to be retarded

Juggernauts do not have a rule of thumb when it comes to CC, the rule of thumb about them is that they should have troubles engaging AND disengaging from a fight

i mean. the rule of thumb when it comes to cc on juggs right now is to keep it mostly single target or comparibly weak aoe slows.

darius pull and yoricks w are so far the most juggs have in form of cc.

cho really shouldnt be grouped in with juggs in my opinion. hes closer to a tank if anything.

cho changes were literally said to make him a stronger jugg so i'm going to refer to him as one

Is there a source for that?

i hate to say it, but if they actually make him a jugg, with the addition of the slow on his e, theyd need to remove cc from either his q or his w in my opinion.

id personally remove the knockup on his q.

its just a bit bonkers to make him basically both a cc machine like a tank and a juggernaut at the same time.

i think e should do the single-target slow like you said

I wouldn't mind Q being weaker but a little less shit to aim, fair trade-off for me. esp with all the other strengths he's getting now

Chogath isn't really a juggernaut, Darius ,DrMundo ,Olaf ,Garen, Renekton . Cho is just strong early game at the moment. and they clearly don't that's why we have LeeSin

cho is a juggernaut, even quoted the E rework as trying to make him more like one

renekton isn't, he's too mobile

Cho has always had lots of cc

Big Lincoln1 votes

i didn't say otherwise, but he's getting more with the E change

i'm asking what makes him particularly distinct considering that he is very bursty like other juggernauts, who do NOT have as much CC as he does to guarantee their job get done

i still cant wrap my head around the idea that cho is supposed to be a juggernaut.

why isnt he just classified as a warden? yes, he has a whole fuckton of base damage partially due to his ult. but hes just way too loaded on cc to be grouped in with the rest of them.

also im still not a fan of that slow addition to his e. its way over the top due to how easy its going to make lane trades by poking over minions with his e to follow up with a q and w.

were not talking about Sion here with a much more narrow skillshot. the area thats covered by those spikes is freaking huge and easy to hit.

id really appreciate if that % health damage and the slow only affected the direct target of his auto attacks and not everything that gets indirectly hit by the spikes.
