How a jungler carries in soloQ: Tips

I'm going to be brief because i'm tired but what a jungler plays is important. No, I don't mean it's important to the team. Fuck the team! This is soloQ, your team isn't 4 pro players who know exactly what to do. I mean that it matters solely for the jungler, if it's the champion he can carry with on his own. Play according to what you know and what YOU can do. Never play according to the team. On that same note, never blame your team for the mistakes that occur in the game. Every single loss is only to the fault of the single common denominators. That single common denominator is YOU. Any other denominator is simply an obstacle for you to overcome.

I'll give you a few tips, which should kind of be obvious but you'll find them here: -Watch a stream specified to your role. This works as well for junglers as it does any other role, if not more. If you can find a high-ranking streamer, preferrably a professional pro player. Recommended streamers for junglers: Rush, IWDominate(tread cautiously as not everything he does is really something you should "mimic") and Svenskeren. (I would've recommended Nightblue3 but his content is moreso for entertainment nowadays so he does a lot of stupid shit not to be tried in soloQ). -Realize that every game, victory or loss, has something you can learn from as you'll never find yourself playing perfectly. If you played perfectly, you'd be world champions 3 times in a row but you're not. -Play a champion that you can reliably carry with. This generally means that you should not play any sort of tanks in the jungle. You may wonder (But top can carry with tanks and tanks are always useful, why shouldn't I?) Tanks are always useful for your team. Relying on your team is the last mistake you wanna make in soloQ. Top laners generally have high damage super tanks that allow them to carry the game by themselves, a perfect example is Darius. A jungle tank is generally a tank that's less tankier than the average Top lane tank. The reason is because top lane has less limited farm and also.. better champions. This means that you should not play any tank junglers, even the good ones: Hecarim, Zac, Shyvana. You may get a few lucky wins but you are better off learning a carry champions such as: Kha'zix, Shaco, Evelynn(highly recommend) and even Vi works but I don't recommend her all that much. -Don't be a whiner. If you lose, you lose. You made mistakes and you need to understand that. Chances are you'll tilt and when you tilt, you're not gonna play at your best. Always know when to take breaks. A good way to take a break, is watching a replay of the game and see your mistakes. This is absolutely crucial! If you do this, I guarantee you'll improve. -Try to learn 1 champion first. Learning 1 champ and improving on them as much as possible is definitely the best way of climbing. If you feel you've succeeded in your endeavor of playing this champ (e.g. good winrate past 50 games) then you can find another champion that not only suits how you play but fixes weaknesses where you had with your other champion. Again, I highly suggest neither of these champions are tanks whatsoever.

  • PAY 2 WIN: Just hire a high-ranking coach and maybe you'll learn from him. This is optional.
