What if Karthus had a sticky wall instead of a slow field?

I've been mulling over the idea in my head and I think it'd be a good change for Karthus; the only issue I've ever really had with him is that his wall has felt horrible post-nerf, but it's kind of understandable because it's instant and it slows everyone for 5 seconds, not very good for counterplay

So what I propose it is to be made into a thicker, delayed wall that tethers all enemies close it, with their MR shredded and having their movement limited to a small area where they got snatched. I want to say it should ground, but exempt abilities that allow you to ignore CC so that he can still be countered by Vi, Malphite etc, but that's a little iffy

what u think

In the creation of Karthus, his wall was planned to pull in (only slightly) enemies who touched it. They would be drawn toward Karthus, like a lesser version of Diana's E. It was scrapped because no one would risk interacting with it, ever. I think it's too broken of an idea.

He'd be alot easyer to play. Honestly knowing when and how to use his wall is the highest skill cap to learn when playing karthus

Nice idea, although I wouldn't want to change him too much. All they need to do is make Karthus steals (a portion of) the MR that his wall shreds, giving him a bit more beefiness in trades versus some of the more hard-hitting AP mids out there.

his wall should create ghosts of enemy team that hit for 0.5*karthus's Q damage
