Veigar is actually being buffed...

OMG they're reducing the scaling on his ult, and now you actually have some time to react when he throws his giant stun at you. And now his 'q' is a skillshot. It actually takes a small amount of skill to farm it now. This must be the end of Veigar. It isn't. Far from it actually.

His mana costs are now even cheaper, and his cooldowns are shorter on just about all of his abilities. And he gets increased range on his stun and 'q'. But this is clearly a nerf, right?

Out of the nerfs to Veigar, the changes to his E seem to be the only ones that seem concerning as to his viability. The changing of his Q from point and click to a skillshot with 200+ range is really a big buff adding additional ability to poke/siege and also considering hitting a straight line skill shot should be easy in comparison to landing the edge of a hexagon on someone. The ratio on his ult looks worse than it really is considering that his Q can now farm 2 AP per shot potentially rather than just 1.

His E is definitely worse. The optimal use now will likely be placing the box to where you expect an enemy champion to be in .75 seconds or as a zoning tool rather than right on top of someone.

I can't tell if you're trolling or just very ignorant of how he works. The Q change is very welcome by many people because it's going to make lane farming and harass way easier out of the gate (you think it'll take skill to use a skill shot versus minions?). He's so squishy though that unless he stuns you, he can't kill you and you'll probably kill him. This change removed his ability to take initiative and it makes him even weaker to the point of rock paper scissors against those that already countered him. There are many other E changes that would have removed his ability to instantly unquestionably stun without removing his engage and most of his disengage, but they chose this.

I like how you mention every change but somehow manage to not mention the delay on his Event horizon like it still works the same, veigar players aren't complaining about Q or R, they are complaining about E and rightfully so.

Once the changes go live I give it a week before everyone but the hardcore "rito hates us" people stop complaining and realize it's a good change.

It did get more range though.. And it got a lowered CD.. And a lower mana cost...

It got 50 more range, going from 650 to 700 range, or did you mean it should have gotten more than 50 range? 50 range isn't exactly a...short distance!

Please upvote this. People are screaming and moaning that with his .75 delay, he's officially 'gutted', while in reality every. Single. Other. Aspect about him has been buffed. .2 ratio off his ultimate is largely made up for the fact that his Q can now farm two minions at once, which is a MASSIVE, MASSIVE buff to him mid-game, where he can spam Q for quicker AP.

If you think that a little more AP from Q-farming, which then has to be fed into his (now-lower) AP ratios, on skills he'll miss more often is a buff, I'd have to disagree. Do you know how much more damage those Q stacks are gonna do on his W? Probably none, as no one's gonna stand around to be hit by it...

And even beyond that, DFG's still gone. I don't know why people are even wasting time asking whether it's a buff, they should be asking whether it's a buff large enough to compensate for DFG's removal (it's not).

Q being turned into a skill shot was also a stupid change. he can no longer pick and choose who he blows up and no more flash+Q+ult combos.

you guys have to understand that since Q is a skill shot now any front line tanks will make it near impossible to blow up the squishy back line. and without DFG he cant blow up tanks anymore.
