Why do I lose my series in a 4v5?

Can I get an explanation for this? Why does this system exist where we can have an afk player and have to 4v5 all game and I get demoted for it? This has happened to me 3 times during a promotion now and I only just started ranked games a week ago. I think you should demote the afk player 5 times instead of punishing everyone for a hopeless game.

Because Riot literally does not got one single fuck about your ranked experience. They will constantly quote "abuse cases" and never change.

Done buying RP from them. Riot team and the LoL community has such a disgusting mentality. "i not in bronze so therefor elo hell dont exist". Yeah it fucking does exist in that there are trolls, leavers, afk, feeders that fuck you over if you happen to have the ill fortune of having them on your team. They need to be permanently removed from ranked and the people who lose because of it shouldn't be punished. The thing is, it's not bad skill on our part that leads to our defeat, so demotion isn't fair. I've had so many afks and feeders on my team but never been lucky enough to get that on enemy team.

Same reason why you win your series when you are in a 5vs4. These games balance out.

I knew I would see some bullshit post like this. I've never had an enemy feed, afk, or never connect during my series. Even if I did, that's not balance. That doesn't change the fact that you waste 30 minutes of your time on a game you can't win. It's all luck. Changing the system to where obviously unbeatable games like this didn't punish you would make it less about luck and much more fair.

Ikr. When you play your promo there is always one retarded who goes afk for bs reasons and therefore you 4v5 with the enemy team and get rekt.

Update: Just had a series game with 4 trolls. 1 of them didn't connect for first 10 minutes, the other said he'd jungle, changed smite to exhaust last second, and afked in top bush until he could steal a kill. Another trash talked and was toxic while refusing to communicate with his team. I tried to hold off bot lane alone as support but I couldn't and we obviously lost.
