Glitchy Client: Punished for the client glitching out

So this happened when I got in a match; the ready check screen was stuck in my face, and the buttons did not work so I was stuck on the screen. I was forced to close the client because this glitch made it so I could not interact with anything, get back in the game and I have a 5 minute queue dodge timer.
So not only did I get a game breaking glitch, but I'm punished for resorting to my only option when such a glitch happens? Good job Riot! [slayer-jinx-wink]
No but really, I hope this is resolved soon. The glitch has only occurred to me once but I'm sure it's happened to others and the dodge timer is just salting the wound
