I cant stand how negative we all are towards each other
Can we all just be nice to each other for a change.
Can we all just be nice to each other for a change.
I humbly respect your opinion friend. These board isn't a nice place though and arguments are basically the currency here.
I suggest M&G boards. Much nicer group.
as someone who does the whole, lets win this team bullshit, even though i am just acting and i really dont care about 4 random other 14-19 year olds playing the same game. however, knowing for a fact, its really helpful to be friendly and then make cancerous banter, not make cancerous banter then be friendly because to them, it seems like damage control
I suggest M&G boards. Much nicer group.
"Nice" may be a bit of a stretch. But we are far more funny, that's for damn sure. http://img.memecdn.com/epic-face_o_232179.gif
Speak for yourself, I'm the nicest guy around :^)
but but but...malicious....in... name.....

Creative.
My god, it does work.
Kevin Hart says he's not just funny, but SERIOUSLY FUNNY. RIGHT IN THE NAME OF HIS SPECIAL. I dare you to say he isn't.
If there were never arguments, we would never discuss differing perspectives/ideas/opinions. People seem to think that arguments are inherently a bad thing, if they're conducted cordially they can be very insightful.
M&G are only good for a quick chuckle at best. (or if you want to worship a deity, and mainstream religions just aren't cutting it for yah)
We could.. but this is the internet so doubtful that we would. Good attitude though [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
STFU noob. ... is what many would say.
But if seriously, I think a lot of people playing League have serious anger issues. A few days ago I was wished "to watch my mother bleed to death". Now, it feels like the guy was really full of anger to say that, and the league game was only his venting tool. Which shouldn't happen.
I'm all up for nicer community, but alas, with a game full of hormone-mad teenagers, that is not meant to be.
- your name is could not care lol
- horomone mad has nothing to do with it, there are older people who rage at this game (coming from a 14 yearold asian kid )
- although people rage, its at the game, not the players, but then they open their chat and shit gets out of hand, honestly, tip for all ragers, jsut mute everyone at the start of a game lol
Honestly, I would literally make it much easier to be punished for raging. Had a bad day and vented on someone online? Think about it silently for next 20 games. Done it again? Temp ban. Again? Perma ban. I find that the current report system is very lacking and people have to be complete assholes to gather enough reports for punishments, while EACH report should matter much more and the chances to get justice by reporting should be much higher.
... adults rage too .. and not all teenagers rage out.
... but if a teenager is raging out consistently .. chances are, they won't succeed at mellowing out until they're an adult.
It doesn't mean that there can't be moderate teenagers though.
I was a bag of emotional outrage when I was a teenager myself. Now at 26 I can contain a lot more outbursts, and deal with them internally. There was little chance of that when I was a teenager, but today I only flip out at losing a video game maybe once every few months. (Oddly, it never really happens in LoL, but I haven't gone into ranked seriously yet. I may never go at it full steam, just because I recognise that it would probably be bad for my mental health lol)
When I was a teenager ... it happened ... well, many times a week.
I
Boards is full of teenage kids, idk what youd expect from this. Most teenage kids mindset is that theyre always right, and want to be the best. Thus they act like shit towards others.
Just some life advice. If you call a woman crazy she is going to become crazy. If you call someone a kid they are gonna treat you as if they're a kid. Why should I respect somebody that just lowkey insulted me? That's the best way to make somebody act like shit towards others. Cut that out. I've seen more adults rage than kids.
That only happens in certain cases. Which is less than half. Also I did not lowkey insult you, you must not know the definition of 'lowkey'.
Should as in hypothetical as in if you were calling me a kid. Learn how not to be a dick on the internet for no reason.
I wasnt being a dick to you, the problem is, everyone in this community takes everything so seriously, that if you say one thing opposing something else, they'll get offended. Like it or not, its the truth.
I was talking about your previous post, not the original post. "You must not know what lowkey means" is a dick thing to say. You might not have meant to be rude, in which case sorry for my reply, but you definitely came across as rude and I don't think anybody would argue otherwise. shrugs
It's nothing personal against you, you just happened to make a thread saying that every rework Riot has ever done besides Cassiopea (probably the biggest failure of a rework since before current Ryze) sucked. Which is wrong. If people tell you you're wrong on that, that isn't negativity. What IS negativity is if they start cussing you out or outright insulting you before you even insult them
Sounds like boards right? Yasuo haters flaming everybody who do not promote their shitty opinions?
Can we all just be nice to each other for a change.
There are many reasons we'll never be nice.

uhhhhh...you want us to wut m8?

so nothing to do with sticking dicks in uncomfortable places...should gone with the thick skin analogy first.
Yes, we can. Have a great day.
Just earlier I was playing a game as Brand mid, out top laner was Rumble against a Riven.
He was feeding hard, something like 0/7 at 15 minutes.
All I told him is he should buy some armor, he was so squishy riven would tower dive him constantly.
He called me a noob, told me to kms, and rushed
While I myself bought a
since their team was 100% AD.
Rumble would get 1 shot by riven but I would survive her burst combo long enough for my team to follow up and take out riven.
At the end of the game I told rumble "see how much harder it was for them to kill me, get some armor next time"
Full caps rage about I had downs and should uninstall and "never reproduce"
all over me giving him advice to build some armor against a full AD team.
Edit: Just for giggles, to see JUST how toxic people can get, do something like say you're a brony and laugh at all the rageposts you get.
Hail the Twicane
I was waiting for your title to be about how you can't stand negativity and the body of your post to be "Fuck you!"
Wrong board for this stuff dude, go to help & support.
It doesn't help that the environment is stressful at all times. It's all about winning now, fun is basically dead even in normals and aram.
thats kinda true...i dont know how many times ive heard "uh, can i get a real support" in a normal game.
I mean i get it they want to practice or whatever, where exactly does one get to fuck around anymore with the death of team builder?
I'll never understand why people get so worked up in ARAM games. I play it to kill time, learn a random champ or when I'm on a "magical journey", so winning is not a priority - it's for fun. Yet people will rage over someone not playing to their standards or they'll cry "ks". It's ARAM... you're complaining about "ks"? Also, some people may not have a re roll, therefore they're stuck with a champ that they may not be entirely familiar with, and guess what? IT'S OK!
I have a huge issue with the way the community has evolved. The average player is a little shitty pants kid now. Nothing matters other than winning and score. You can be Adolf Hitler but if youre carrying the team everyone will excuse it. The tryhard nature of league players means people will continue to get shit on because that is acceptable behavior. Even in norms.
When trying to level up a smurf I saw 2 people in seperate games who were legit beginners go afk due to harassment buy their teammates about what they were doing in-game. I wonder if they even kept playing?
You know what's great is those guys that run 2 accounts just so they can downvote your brand new thread to - 1 just because they dont like you... -_-

Do people actually do this? That's plain sad.
Also, people on the Gameplay boards should vote and voice their opinion more. I see 200 views on one topic but only like 5 comments and 2 upvotes. What's up with that? Just saying a "Yeah. That sounds good." or a "Eh. That isn't the best idea." helps since it gives feedback and eventually more visibility.
lol i deserve to be negative if a lane is feeding every minute
Yea.. league of legends is sadly the most toxic and negative community i've ever seen in my life idk if you can, but see my new discussion if you can about what happened in a recent game i was in.
Grow a pair every game is like this, it isn't a safe space.
You say to the most toxic community in gaming. The percent of a percent that even visits the boards at that.
There are going to be people who straight up enjoy ruining other peoples' time in this game, so intentionally feeding, trying to get others to rage so that they can report them, and buying accounts so that they can do it all again will not go away. There are no systems in place to proactively stop these people, so players need to deal with toxic individuals for multiple games until the system registers them as more than just "rarely toxic" before these people can be filtered out, but by that point upwards of hundreds of people could have been affected by that one person.
Being nice to people is a good idea, but when people don't respect convention (champ select assignment>premade calls / pick order>call order and such), when people intentionally try to tilt their opponent (spamming emotes/BMing), or when people have wildly different ideas of what's acceptable and what's not (spamming pings on an ally when they make a mistake), you have people that don't necessarily have bad intentions lessen other peoples' enjoyment of this game and bring out their more volatile sides.
You see popular streamers and youtubers spam emotes at their opponent for the sake of entertaining their audience, suddenly all Udyr mains try to tilt their opponents by spamming emotes. People will spam emotes under turret, get caught, and throw ranked games because they wanted to mess with their opponent rather than play the game. People worship players like Mr. 20 Permabans and say that he doesn't deserve what happens to him or that he deserves to be let off the hook because other people are toxic, showing that people have very little interest in creating a positive community.
I appreciate the positive intent here, but the only way the community can get better as a whole at this point is for Riot to implement new systems since we as players are able to get our beliefs out to only a negligibly small part of the community. The ability to mute a single ally's pings, the ability to hide all other champs' emotes, the ability for Gold and lower tiers to not be matched with people that they reported within the last month, Riot cracking down even more on account selling, and Riot actively promoting entertainers that could act as positive role models within the community are all ways that they could have a positive affect on their community. Some of these ideas have been floating around for over a year with Riot not making a stance one way or another on them, so unless they were to just come out of the blue with similar fixes, I can only assume that Riot is satisfied with the current state of the community.
I like the toxicity oh no shoot me wow. Maybe I'm just use to it cause Middle school and High school thats what it was like but meh fuck me right
Maybe there's an overwhelming number of players that either: Don't go to school because they can't handle the social interaction (my two siblings being among that crowd), or were so sheltered that this T rated game is the only thing they're allowed to play-- so they've never heard the other twelve year olds on Call of Duty.
