The second I actually listen to the boards

I was in a normals game jungling and this game i actually decided not to mute my team mates (which I do every jungling game) because people on the boards say that team mates provide good info like pink ward locations and what brushes are warded and what not. So i decide not to mute my team. That game had so much toxicity due to my team insulting me all game because i didnt do exactly what they wanted me to as if i was their bitch. Im just going to go back to muting everyone because i dont tilt when i mute everyone and i play better.

(example) During the match braum wanted to chase a master yi and ahri, i was too far away to get there so i back pinged him a few times to let him know i was not going to chase. He proceeds to call me terrible after he exhausts master yi while still trying to chase and dies because he KEPT ON CHASING. Then our ADC says i have autism for not helping braum. This shit happened all game. This is the reason why when i jungle i just mute everyone. When i lane this shit doesnt happen though <.<

Use selective muting liberally as someone outs themselves as toxic, rather than muting everyone immediately. It is a team game, but you don't have to put up with abuse either. There's a place in between.

i guess thats true but i have a short fuse. Im cool to play with until someone pisses me off by being toxic, then im TRIGGERED and i cant help but not shoot back insults or just mute everyone /:

It also pisses me off that i have to help these toxic players win lane. Its almost like im their bitch, they get to insult me and i also have to help them win lane.

If you absolutely have to "/mute all" right off the bat, do what you need to do. Should probably tell them to use their pings first though.

I find that listening to music helps me ignore insults and also helps me focus more on the game. Maybe that could help you as well.

Also if someone starts insulting you or harassing you, just remember that it's just the internet and that you can always report them after the game. I usually mute toxic players since it doesn't help when I listen to them insult me as well as others.
