Why normal URF most likely won't come back ;(

There have been a lot of posts to bring URF back, with some people coming to defend ARURF or saying 'be satisfied with what you have' or whatnot. While I respect the people that prefer ARURF (but NOT the people that complain about the people that want normal URF), I would personally definitely prefer URF over ARURF because

  1. Even if the same 30 champions are played, I can play Zed vs Tuna, Garen vs Fiora, not forced into something like Yasuo vs Tuna.
  2. ARURF is a BANDAID change. It FORCES variety rather than encouraging it. A good change should ENCOURAGE all picks via balance. A bandaid change is just delaying the problem.
  3. I REALLY wanted to try Wukong and the Void Ninja in URF. Not sure if it's worth 50 URF games for a NON GUARANTEED CHANCE to play them.

Unfortunately, I think these are the reasons why URF is most likely not coming back

  1. Rito doesn't have the capacity. They're too busy making skins, balancing for worlds, hotfixing Singed and all sorts of other work. They're not going to take that huge amount of workload to make the champs equally viable in URF, especially since its most likely not going to net them much profit.
  2. Rito is not gonna take in another 1000 "UGH SAME 30 META CHAMPS WE WANT ARURF" Boards.
  3. Since Riot is too busy in the normal Summoner's Rift game, they can't give perfect balance in URF and therefore cannot satisfy the people that want more variety.

That's just my thoughts on why normal URF is not going to come back.
