Why not give trnyda some sort of def ult

I dont know, something like hp/armor/mr or something that is not so frustrating to play against as his current ult.

I know I know CC and shit. But sorry if the only counter play there is "use all your hard cc on him" then something is wrong.

Can he be played around? yes, but is so frustrating to play against him that makes the game so much less enjoyable.

ignite is pretty good counter play. Hard CC is not the only counter. You can kite him as long as he doesn't have targets to attack to refresh his spin. Really if you have to use your ult to survive a focus fire gank or a team fight where the rest of your team gets away, trynd's ult brings nothing but a delay to the inevitable.

It can definitely be frustrating to play against but if you remove his invulnerability ult you remove the foundation of his identity. It allows him to be an incredible 1v1er, which is where he is supposed to excel, and teamfighting is not as easy as "press R, never die". Like Yi or Katarina, if you go in at the wrong time you're boned, but unlike them he does not get resets to keep his abilities going during a fight.

His "identity" is, quite frankly, stupid.

Having a bottom that makes you un able to die for as long as it does, plus the inmense amount of dmg he pulls out of his ass, and the mobility he has it's just toixc and should be reworked as hard as sion was.

Tryndamere will suck all the fun out of top lane until you outplay him.

It's quite simple to do so, since so much of his kit requires you to be overwhelmed and make a stupid mistake. However when you do outplay him, he's put into famine mode. Getting to that point is still one of those most painful things I've experienced in this game.

summoner 14 item 3047 item 3075 item 3139 all make it a little more bearable for me. I would say the most annoying thing about Tryndamere players is when they realize they won't be feasting. They will constantly push your lane, requiring you to frequently go back to it after roaming.
