Make our mastery score display above our emote

reaching mastery rank 5 on a champion is nothing special, and not a reflection of either dedication or skill. its just a matter of playing a certain amount of games on them. you could utterly suck on them and still get mastery rank 5 after a certain time.

playing the mastery 5 emote as a taunt, or from your corpse after a failed play is fun. but imagine someone flashing a mastery emote that displays 400k. you know, that shit just got real.

if we cant get mastery levels 6 and 7, let us have this.

it would also solve the issue of people wanting increasing amounts of mastery levels after theyve maxed out the current mastery cap on their main.

If I could flash my 500k Emote on my zed..I think I'd see my enemy back off a bit [slayer-jinx-wink]

If you were really 500k, then you would be in the Top 30 or so people in the world in terms of Zed games. I noticed you weren't, so I investigated. You're kinda close, but you're not there yet.

I'm fairly sure they do want to do mastery levels 6/7 (and I think assets for 8 might exist too), so I wouldn't hold my breath for extra rank 5 perks.

It might be an interesting additional perk for 6/7 though (compared to just a different emote), although it'd probably be a bit more technically demanding so I don't know how realistic it might be.

edit: That said, anyone can get 400k mastery while being suck on them too, it just takes a lot of games.

but it still takes hell of a lot games. i mean. anyone can get mastery 5 and later 6,7,8. id say adding the score to the emote would still make it more meaningful.

Some of the ideas surrounding higher mastery levels have involved including S rank requirements, so depending on how they handle the mastery levels above 5 then simply grinding them out might be far less practical. (Although still doable, as if you play any champ enough eventually you'll end up in one of those complete stomp matches [potentially even due to an enemy feeder] where you don't even have to be good to do well enough for an S rank.)

As someone with a shade under 400k mastery on a champion (Janna) I'd be happy to be able to show it off, but it's a pretty low priority update compared to for example actually releasing the higher mastery levels.
