Is Support the hardest role to carry with?

Seriously. I either get complete tards, or afks. I'm not even doing that bad. The majority of games I can win, but tonight I had a guy who was high. A Vayne who constantly complained about everything, and couldn't even get 100 cs at 30 minutes without leaving every team fight, and the last game today is the afk, where we actually could have one. I feel bad for all supports.

I think it's tier dependent. I would argue that in low elo (bronze->gold) support is the most difficult. After that (plat->challenger) support plays a much more impactful role since your adc's tend to be far more reliable. Stochastically speaking, of course.

To be honest I feel like lulu is the best support currently.

She's pretty broken with her overloaded kit, try her out.

Don't like her. Not a fan of pokey supports, but she can win trades most of the time.

In plat I find it pretty difficult to carry as a top laner since its so hard to effect the map on most of them.

Take teleport, and if your bot happens to get ahead ask the jungler to drag, and you'll tp if they need help. If your bot is behind just save tp and wait to use it when the enemy bot is doing a hard engage.

You usually want to play a lot of disengage supports if you want to carry.

picking alistar/lulu/thresh is pretty good because they all can cockblock the enemy team from killing your team/adc

That would make sense... Save for Tahm Kench?

He's pretty good, I would recommend him as a counter pick to assassins such as talon/zed

I think you should really play alistar or lulu, alistar is great at teamfights and peeling and catching people out while lulu is a god tier laner with really good poke and her polymorph is really strong as well as her ability to ult someone and rescue them

I think supporting is pretty boring so now adays I pick talon support and it's pretty fun/good against immobile adcs

I can play Alistar pretty well.

(yes i can do w + q, and vice versa)

I think when you have close games, a support is a lot more noticeable. Even in games where i get the adc fed and destroys everything, it can be hard to tell if i am the really good one, or they are. Supports shine when they can use there utility to catch someone out, save someone, or control a team fight, which is only really a big deal if the games are close.

It's hard and on the same time as structMonkey said. But nothing is more satisfying than carrying a (good) adc in the lane and watch him wreck people later in the game, and having him/her (well it's rare but can happen) congratulate for your plays. It's like "I CREATED THIS ADC". You feel proud :)

Even if i have Mid as main lane now, i was in previous seasons a supp main, and i have to admit i still love the most the games where you are called a "supp god", "madlife" etc etc, than any other carry role.

Because being a fighter, assasin, mage, marksman carry doesnt feel for most players as something unique, but the support carry that will make plays and literally be the main factor the team wins is the most noticeable and it feels great when you are the one doing it.

To conclude, support is a hard role, and even harder in soloq, because of the randomness you can get matched with. If you like to support frequently, grab a friend or anyone who's good at adc for duo and have fun ! (oh and ignore the "noob bot premade" if you happen to lose your lane ^_^)

support is the hardest role to carry with if you have very very bad team mates
