Removal of Promos from Regular Ranked Games

I'm probably going to get swarmed with "Get Good, Scrub" comments, but here we go.

Been playing TFT Ranked a lot lately, and the lack of Promos when climbing feels amazing. If I lose two games in a row and get demoted, then win 3-4 games in a row, I'm at the point I would have been at had I won those two games, no questions asked.

When I lose two games in a row and get demoted in Regular Ranked games, I have to win the next 3 games in a row just for the privilege of trying to win 2 of the next 3 games just to get back to my starting place. If I fail, I have to do the whole process over again just to try again.

I understand why Promos were implemented ages ago, and I was a pretty big supporter of them at the time, but the past couple of seasons have made me just despise them for making my progress feel unnecessarily gated. It might just be an arbitrary number and a shiny badge that I'm chasing for, but it feels extremely frustrating to push so hard to get to Promos (sometimes 5-6-7 wins in a row if you're starting at 0LP) and then just get a bad couple of games and be told "You're not consistently good enough to rank up."

At this point they feel like just a nuisance. I'm not excited to get to Promos, because I feel like it's just a roll of the dice whether or not I can rank up or not - when I win those games, I'm like "Hey, got lucky", when I lose them, I feel like it wasn't necessarily my fault. Solo Agency in a team game is always going to be a big challenge, but I think that change might make those losses feel a little less punishing, and those runs of 5-6-7 wins in a row make you feel like you're climbing that much harder.

Alright, that's my 2 cents. Bring on the comments. I have zero expectation that the current Promo system will change, but wanted to talk about that topic while it was in the front of my mind.
