Caitlyn and "The 'Sexy' Factor"

Ask Riot: The "Sexy" Factor - Nexus - League of Legends

So I was reading through the latest Ask Riot, and while I was skimming through the first segment on "sexy girl champions", this section jumped out at me:

Visuals should support the overall theme of a character, not be there in spite of it. The way Caitlyn looks makes no sense for a prim and proper sheriff. The way Ahri looks makes a ton of sense for a succubus.

Now, are we to take this as a suggestion that the design team is considering a VU or Story rework on Cait sometime in the future, or was it more of a "In the past we did this, but in the future we're going to avoid making design decisions like this?"

I'm not a Caitlyn main or anything; I'm just genuinely curious. Just one of those things that got my mind going, analyzing how she might be tweaked in the future like some of the more recent reworks (Ryze and Galio come to mind - either small skin/skill/story tweaks to make her more in line with the overall LoL lore, or a total rehaul into basically a new ADC with the same name).

They once talked about a Caitlyn VU years ago. However since then the VU-updates have changed and they only do VGUs.

And we know that Caitlyn is at least not among the top candidates(and she might not even be among the Tier2candidates since she seems to get a legendary skin soon)

A bit of both, i think. Chances are she will get a visual update eventually.

Why does caits look make sense she was born into a wealthy family that was murdered and then she decided to become a police officer. Her dress shows a bit of aristocracy. I fail to see how caits design doesnt fit her character

"The way Ahri looks makes a ton of sense for a succubus."

JinxyLord... Ahri is a Gumiho, not a succubus. A succubi consume souls via sexual actions. Gumiho literally consume livers. Though, in Korean mythology, the soul was thought to be housed in the liver... soo... not very far off.

PS, I've not read Ahri's lore update.

In my opinion, they already changed her lore to fit the character. In the stories of the Piltover event, she didn't seem to be that correct sheriff.
