How Do You Farm So Well?
How do you guys at high elo do it?
I try, but when I'm pawning my lane, I just find myself grouping and getting objectives more instead of csing.

Granted im not in high elo, you have to remember something when you look at how the pros play and how low elo players play. Pros play at a very slow and deliberate pace and make sure to focus a lot of their time on farming and taking objectives rather than snowballing and trashing their lane. This leads to generally higher cs because if you have ever watched a pro match, first blood occurs at about 20m and most players dont get over 6 kills. In low elo the games are more kill oriented where if you win lane, your opponent doesnt know how to keep up and you just keep killing them. This leads to higher kill/death counts and less cs because there is a lot of time spent dead for both teams. Hope this helped.
The idea is to miss very little during laning phase while still trading effectively. It's easy for people to miss a couple cs per wave, and to totally ignore cs when trading, and that cs adds up.
Then, keep any eye on waves when you're grouping, and try to set them up so they'll form a big wave and push into an enemy turret. This'll force an enemy champ to go deal with it or else miss a ton of cs (and put a dent in the turret), and then the wave'll start pushing back towards you. You want to keep an eye on when those waves are going to be building up on your side of the map, so you can try to avoid any big fights when theres a wave crashing and instead you can be in position to collect all the cs.
Mid-late, clearing jg camps as you go by them adds up as well (early on they aren't necessarily worth the time/health investment).
Lower elo is a mess of people grouping mid and trying to force teamfights since thats the only strategy they know, so they miss out on a lot of side wave cs and jg creeps while they have an unproductive standoff for ages until someone gets impatient and does something stupid. At higher elos, it's increasingly more likely that people won't immediately engage 4v5 when you leave to clear a wave, plus the wave management is much better.
I miss 1-2 per 2 waves or so.
How do you do that? I mean, the wave setup.
Only missing 1-2 per 2 waves is 10+ cs/min, so I wouldn't worry about improvement from there. Although I suspect you mean you miss an average of 1 per wave for the first 10 minutes or so, and then your average drops significantly. Lots of people even at the gold level actually do have the mechanics to manage 10 cs/min for the first 10-20 minutes (and sometimes even will), it's just they basically stop post laning phase and by the end of the game they're down to 5 cs/min on average, as they miss entire wave after entire wave as they float around mid.
There's lots of guides on advanced wave manipulation and I am far from an expert (not to mention I'm a support main so I'll generally leave wave manipulation to the adc). If you really go into it, you can figure out exactly how many minions to leave alive and which ones based on where the waves are meeting on the map and the size of the waves, and be able to set up a fast push/slow push/freeze as desired. Youtube is probably your friend here.
In any case, sometimes you don't want to kill off an entire wave if you know you're going to be roaming elsewhere on the map. For example, killing off just the ranged minions and leaving the melees can result in your minions building up into a big wave that'll push into their tower, while killing off the entire wave would just result in two evenly sized waves crashing into one another and not reliably building up in either direction depending on where the waves meet and where the minion aggro happens to end up.
they simply dont miss 10cs in the 1st wave. /s
me
take Krugs
Do I Q when the minions are low or when they are half hp
Do I even Q?
How do i even ever miss cs under tower?
Positioning and rotating. It really comes down to sitting in certain "Pockets" in lane, where the retaliation spots are low, and if your trading you make a good trade that sacrifices little to no Cs.
When rotating, i often take jungle camps / clear waves to maintain pressure. It's important to keep all of the lanes shoving while being in most teamfights. Don't let your tower eat several waves of minions, clear a wave and a half then join your team / look for picks.
Learning wave management in side lanes is pretty huge. Mid lane you can miss minions to roam but you better be making damn good use of your time while you are gone.
