Devourer needs to be changed to deal with the faster game speed

As it stands, you can't get your Sated in time to be impactful. By the time you've finished it, the game has already been decided, or you're already rolling the other team. This problem is compounded by turrets being lost earlier, which compromises your control over your jungle, and pushes your team mates to take your jungle while they wait for the minion wave to push.

tl;dr fix Devourer, basically all jungles who rely on it have been deprecated in favor of Warrior jungles.

The problem is the faster game speed imo

i rather not have a sated yi/udyr running around any earlier. the average time i see most people get sated is around 22-25 minutes, if a team is on a roll sated is almost a fate sealer and if its the other way around well then that just sucks, sated has to be the strongest (and riskiest) items currently.

I'm not going to say much about average game length. (cause I think the Confusion with the new patch attributes to people steamrolling.) But Over all, I would probably say most games should aim for the 30-40 minute range. So I would argue that Sated is pretty ok for that kind of length.

The problem with Sated however is that it's picked up by item reliant carrys. Where the gold gen was replaced by exp gen. (which I actually support in general) But that definitely removes power from Junglers who want to solo Carry.

No, the problem with Sated is that it's only completed by the jungler on the team that already has the game closed out. Games are over and jungle control is lost much earlier right now. Pretty much every game has been over before 20 minutes, with the remaining time just being bad normal players screwing around and not finishing.

I don't think sated needs to be toned down, I think jungling as a whole needs to be reworked. I mained jungle jax towards the end of season 5 and it took me 15-20 minutes on average to get sated. On an AP champ I would usually have runeglave at the 5-7 minute mark depending on clears/ganks.. it took me almost 11 minutes of farming, and ganking before I got my runeglave on my last elise game. the game ended before I even had my third item finished even tho I was in the positives in terms of kills and assists as well as jungle cs, where as the enemy teams support was on her 5th item in that same length of time with a much lower KDA than myself.

The gold distribution in the jungle is currently not on par with any lane and with the removal of the purple smite to help faster clears, AP junglers and some AD junglers are not having optimal clear times resulting in less of an impact to help their team try and fight the overpowered bullshit yasuos, tryns, and all these damn overtuned marksmen running around. I shouldn't go 8/7/6 and only earning 12.6k gold over 35 minutes when the enemy support earns almost 13k gold just for standing around.

Riot needs to fix this otherwise why even jungle as someone not a sated champion...
