That logic is flawed, people are upset over dropping cause there is no reason given as to why most people drop so drastically for a lot of the time performing well.

Secondly, having to redo a lot of the work you've put into the game already just feels like a huge waste of time to most. It's like it nullified all the work you did in the previous season, basically saying "none of that mattered."

Lastly, fuck Call of Duty, it's a bad game. On top of my personal opinion of it, prestiging is completely different, in that you aren't punished as hard for losing, you kind of generally just keep ranking up the more you play. In LoL losing punishes the majority of players quite heavily and you are much more reliant on your teams in general in LoL then you are in CoD, so if you have a streak of bad luck or have tilted for any number of reasons and lose a few games you are punished severely for it. In CoD just keep playing and you'll rank up, so it's a horrendous comparison.

Its not that big of a deal to me, because i know if wont take me any more then a couple of weeks to just about catch up to where i was last season. If you were plat and dropped down to silver and get stuck there, it means thats where you belong.

Well no, that's not what it means, not everytime at least. Very narrow field of view if that's how you see it.

And just cause you personally don't have a problem with it doesn't mean no one else should, we are all different people and being unable to accept that is simply childish.

But your CoD comparison is still horrendous, which is the main reason why I commented lol
