WukongMain1 votesthat silver guy might've had all his wins in placements going 5/5 and getting placed mid silver and has since went on to lose 10 games in a row. Sounds crazy but it's possible.
Perhasp he got boosted last season to gold for the end of season rewards. and this season did his placements himself. and the combo of being gold last season and whatever he went in placements was enough for him to get mid silver. an elo he did not deserve. (because of his elo boost last season his ranked mmr was higher than it should have been). With only 20 games placed that's only 10 more games than his placements which isn't really too much. He'll probably keep dropping to whatever elo he deserves.
That bronze is most likely being placed with those silvers due to dynamic queue. as bronze and silvers can queue up with eachother. On the chance that it's 10 solo queue players, His hidden MMR is probably much higher than those in bronze 1 and is actually on par with those silver players. he simply has to keep playing and he should climb up to silver as well.
The Deckowner1 votesThe first guy was actually unranked last season, only did 9 placements. And in this season he went 7loss 3 win during placement. Doesn't really make sense how he didn't get into bronze immediately after placement.
The bronze has like 70% win rate, so I see how he is matched with silvers. But from observing how he performed in game(literally told me to not buy suggestions and not place or clear ward) I don't see how he deserve anywhere outside of bronze. He is either intentionally trolling us or he is boosted.
WukongMain1 voteswas he ranked in any of the previous seasons?. if not that's probably why he got placed silver. when i first started playing in season 3. my vary first season. i got placed into Silver 3 after my 10 promos. i believe this is due to the fact it's a fresh rank. i could be wrong but i think it may or may not calculate your normal games mmr? But anyway. i got silver 3 after my first 10 ranked games ever!!. He could also be in this situation.
i spent the following season getting placed into bronze 3 and being stuck in bronze for quite some time. Tell me that makes sense?. First season : S3. Second season: B3 then gets stuck in bronze ahaha.
As for the 2nd guy.. Its quite possible that in those areas he really does deserve bronze. But in other area's like teamfighting or split pushing or csing or whatever the area, he does indeed deserve silver. Also you have to think, he didn't start off fighting those silvers. He steadily climbed up in MMR to be fighting those, Maybe he is reaching the peak of his "skill" and is actually now on equal grounds with the silvers and is not finding it tough to play against them.
