How should I build BloodThirster into Lucian's build????

I go something like .

I could always just get somewhere.

But having + lifesteal would be funner, and more effective if I'm not worried about getting bursted.

What should my final build look like? ?

Don't get BT or Duskblade.

item 3047 / item 3006 item 3153 item 3071 item 3046 item 3026 / item 3031 / item 3139 item 3036 / item 3033

either never

or last item optional if they dont have cc/magic damage (at which point crit is still preferred)

even if they have dirt for armor and are looking to forgo last whisper, or a swain, bork/mercs is more than enough and still preferred.

if you want my opinion then blood thirster is most effective if you go the OG crit Build. item 3508 item 3094 item 3031 item 3006 item 3072 item 3036 / item 3033

the Problem with this Build you have is it is too much on hit and Skill damage since you mostly Build raw ad and focus on the initial procs like item 3153 passive onhit and the item 3071 stats and armor shred so to compensate for the lack of initial damage you are still forced to Build crits with item 3031 item 3094 leaving the last item with an optional choice of either having item 3026 or one of the two items coming from item 3035

means you Need to much compensational damage to even think about building in any raw "offensive defence" with all the massive lifesteal and the overheal shield you get from item 3072 which means bloodthirster cant be Build into the current cough "meta lucian" cough Build AT ALL.

the current Build path most famous on lucian made bloodthirster into a situational item which in Terms will screw the entire initial Build you have completely over, making it impossible to fully utilize it. you either have too much raw damage and will lack the AA armor Penetration by not having the item 3035 items or you do Build blood thirster but sacrifice at LEAST 2 items in compensation, most likely those items being item 3071 and item 3153 because if you only give up one of them the other one becomes entirely misplaced in your Build leading to it being useless and therefore thrown away aswell, straight out returning the crit Build by having you Build item 3072 and item 3508 in replacement for the first 2 items, making the meta Build forgotten in the first place.

what most people Forget, it is the combination of CDR, armor shred and heavy onhit damage that make item 3153 and item 3071 IN COMBINATION such a good Thing on lucian when fused with his passive bonus AA procs. but alone they are on lucian as useful as a rabbadons on garen.

so your question is answered by a counterquestion. what do you sacrifice for item 3072 and how will you compensate for it?
